Remember the days of the Drive In where you'd park your car, a teenager on roller blades would bring your order and hook the tray to your cars' window? OK those days are gone but feeling a need for a decent root beer, I ventured into this not so tiny corner restaurant for lunch the other day. It had been a while since I turned my back on this chain when they decided to hook up with the likes of gas stations. Talk about lowering the value of your brand.Fully accessible, washrooms included. Seating on low and high tables. The service was pleasant and efficient. They even brought a customer a hot cup of coffee to her table. Try and get that at McDonald's.I ordered the Pappa Burger with onion rings and a root beer. The burger was juicy and tasty, the rings tasted of onions (unlike many places who serve tasteless over coated don't really know what to call 'em slugs) and the drink came in a real to goodness chilled glass mug.All reminders of the old time flavours and decorum.BREAKFAST: The Canadian at $7.95 is two dollars more than the basic breakfast but gives you tomatoes, sausage and a hash brown. Not a bad deal in comparison but add the cost of a coffee at $1.65 and that brings your total to $10.85 with tax. Compared to local Diners where you can get real roast potatoes with your toast, bacon & eggs for between 6 and 8 dollars coffee & refill included and it turns out to be a tad on the rich side.

Been here constantly, Very clean and bright environment. Double buddy burger is my always go-to.Although the cheese is an add-on compare to similar competitor McDouble which already has cheese and cheaper — I still like A&W better.Reasons are:1. you can add lettuce and tomato for FREE.2.You can switch the buns into lettuce wrap for FREE, while other fast food chains don’t even provide this option.If you’re a healthy freak but also sometimes craving for fast foods—get this.

Can't say the atmosphere was good, as the outlet only allows for take out late at night, but the 24hr service, and the consistently delicious Beyond Meat offering, make A&W my ONLY choice for burgers ANYWHERE.

Great service. I had the all day breakfast: cheese and egger sandwich. $3.75 (including tax). It was made to order. I was there at 11am and the place was quiet and very nice. I was actually able to dine in.

This place is under staffed, only one service worker work on both cashier and prepare the food in the morning.My experience at this location was terrible. I asked some questions about the menu and the girl at the counter rolled her eyes at me right in front of my face when I was the customer ordering.It’s no excuse how busy you are (I was the only one customer there btw), you are never allowed to express your frustration to the customer. It’s rude, it’s unacceptable.She should be fired. I am not going to any A&W again.

Food was Good as always. But the service was bad. They only had one person doing everything. No Hygiene, tables dirty, floor dirty. They need to maintain.

Pretty cool A&W in Downtown Toronto. Actually the best A&W because the lettuce, tomatoes and onions are free which isn't the case with all locations. The Mama burger was fantastic and the lady was fast. Give it a try!

Halloween night the staff here were absolutely fantastic despite being only two people in the entire place for possibly one of the busiest Monday nights... The manager who created the shift for this day should be ashamed for what they put their staff members through.That being said your staff members handled it in stride with no complaints, there was an error in my order but I don't even care because they were trying so hard.

Very rude behaviour of Avorare name girl. I did nt her name extacly because she hide it. She did work at 8june in evening shift. I have a great request to this store manager please teach some moral values to her.Five stars for coffe & burger.
