The Boathouse Restaurant
I have heard this franchise for a long time and finally got a chance to sit down to eat and drink with a stunning wide view of the sunset. The view was undoubtedly spectacular as well as the service. In terms of food, two of us ordered a green salad, half dozen of oyster — half Vancouver and half Irish point, and a seafood pasta. Frankly from a customer’s perspective, the oysters were a little small and salty. Perhaps that is what we can get here, and the ones from Irish point were better for your reference — sweeter and juicer. The salad was delicious with goat cheese since it’s not easy to keep lots of goat cheese at home; it’s definitely a good choice to have it there. The pasta matched my expectation, especially the grilled pawns they put. Sadly we wasn’t able to try their liquor due to health issues but it can be done during our next visit. Would recommend it to some families who love seafood!

We had dinner at the patio on Canada Day! The place was packed. The food quality was excellent as always…the service was amazing. I had a problem with my card and our server, Rosie handled everything like a boss. If you’re reading this, you the boss!

Stunning location on the second floor and a glassed in patio affords stellar views of the water and the city. Ample pay parking is a plus as well.I enjoyed a seat by the fire as I was dining alone. Delighted to find one of my favourite white wines - William Hill Chardonnay, I paired it with the mussels with chorizo. A perfect brunch!!Excellent service and overall experience. A local gem!

We had a great experience when visiting The Boathouse. The food was delicious and the service was great. They accommodated our request of having an ocean view table, even when the restaurant was packed. My husband appreciated it as it was his first time being near the ocean. We will definitely be back!

Great service and food. Nathan, our server, helped put our guests with dietary restrictions and overall great food recommendations. The food was amazing and great for the senses, sight smells, and taste. Highly recommend this location. And the view at sunset was amazing. B

Very unique location, by the water, spectacular view of water. The food was very good and you feel the freshness. Our glasses on the table were all hazy with fingertips!! Inside tables are super outdated, and they go back to the 90s, I would say. Such a nice location requires more modern tables. One thing that they need to fix is that the toilets are right by where they keep cutlery sets and dishes!!! They should do something to relocate or change the direction somehow. Anyway, there is no parking and it's very hard to find one. Just be prepared for looking around.

A classy eatery right on kitsalano beach, it has amazing water, sunset and north shore mountain views. The menu has superb selections from mixed grill seafood, pasta, steaks, and, cocktails are excellent! bon appétit

All of the food was a bit overseasoned for my tastebuds. The ravioli was a bit dry. We ordered a calamari, prawn and lobster ravioli, and a crab dip. Service and ambience were impeccable. I cannot imagine how popular this location would be in the summertime.
