It was fine overall. Good service. $10 ramen is decent for the price. Rest of the items are a little expensive but still average in quality (sashimi, karaage, mango roll). Ive had better and ive had worse.Soft opening for the rest of June at least (maybe longer) which gives you 20% off and a free chicken wing if you follow on instagram so with the discount Id say its worth it. Otherwise its ok. Convenient location for students so you could definitely do worse.

Checked out this new Japanese restaurant. Nice atmosphere and services. We ordered deluxe sushi and stone grill. Food quality was good and it was also fun

My wife and I went to Tansen for lunch today. The restaurant came across my Instagram feed yesterday and it struck me as something worth experiencing! We were not disappointed!! The service was amazing. Joyce, our server, was so happy, bubbly and excited, while also a little nervous, due to this being my first experience with Japanese food. The food was incredible and the service from everyone was beyond what’s expected when going to a restaurant. We will definitely be going back! If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!!

First time in this establishment, nice design and atmosphere. I just wasn't blown away by any dishes.Tuna sushi- solid, very fresh biteIka Geso- favorite dish, batter was light, the mayo dip was deliciousRed Ramen- not bad, the texture of the egg was good but needed some seasoning, could of used some seaweed or some type of veggie in there but it was 10$Spicy salmon oishi sushi- should be one bite and just melt in your mouth, maybe too much rice or maybe it's cause they don't use sockeye salmon, I've had betterChicken Thigh skewer - too salty, not enough smoky flavorI had high hopes but was left wanting more.

I have walked by this establishment everyday on my way home, eagerly awaiting for it to open.I'm pleased to say it was worth the wait my tuna was delicious and the black ramen hit the spot in just the right way! it's forsure on my regular rotation for my payday treat from now on.I look forward to many more bowls of delicious noodles.

Came in on opening day and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful as soon as you walk in. The decor was beautiful and the servers was really sweet. Trina served us and she was absolute delight helping us through their menu items. We ordered lots, but we enjoyed the chef’s choice sushi and the shaka shaka fries a lot! Highly recommend for an amazing experience.

I ordered the Goma ramen and the flavour was great! Although it had too much oil in the broth. For my sides I ordered chicken heart & pork belly skewers, tasted yummy but was a very small portion. The restaurant itself is beautiful with great decor. Staff was super nice and would refill our water every few minutes.
