I went there tonight after suggesting this place to my friend, when my friend asked for the number 3 shawarma but with sweet sauce instead of tahini sauce the guy making the food said no. I asked him saying he must be joking and he replied with “I’ve been working here 30 years I know what I’m doing.” I work in the food industry and this was horrible customer service, to think that he would not let my friend substitute sauces. I will never come here again.

Such delicious food! We stopped here while in Alberta visiting from Vancouver. I had the falafel wrap with tabbouleh and it’s hands down the best i’ve tasted on my trip here. Highly recommend. Amazing and friendly service too!!

I recently visited Falafel King in downtown Calgary and it's safe to say they serve the best shawarma wraps in town! The line was out the doors during lunchtime, and rightfully so. Despite the crowd, the service was impressively fast, ensuring that everyone got their orders in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the beef shawarma wrap. It was absolutely amazing! The tender, flavorful beef combined with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned sauce made for an explosion of deliciousness in every bite. LOVED my takeaway chicken platter here. Came with a falafel ball as well as bread, hummus, chilli and even a little baklava. I had about 5 minutes before my bus came and they quickly put it together for me. It was awesome to get such a big portion with all those extra thoughtful touches. Even pickles!! Will definitely come back ❤️

Ordered the shawarma platter with extra meat. It was fine, nothing special at all. The food was cold, they didn't warm it up, the portion size was ok. The humus was really weird tasting though, not good at all. The garlic sauce was dry but tasted fine. Overall, it was an ok experience but with that price, it's not good. There are much much better shawarma places in Calgary that are better and more affordable.

The store took me to the Middle East. A warm and welcoming design. The food was fresh and delicious. I got a free baghlava ( Turkish dessert) at the end which was great .

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is really good, but the customer service sets them above most others. Super friendly and fast service. Will continue to frequent there at lunch time.

Had a falafel wrap last week - it was so good. I think this is the best place to go. Service was great too! I love that they give me a free dessert with every visit. I will be back.

This place is amazing. We went there for the first time. We are visiting from Toronto and this place is exceptional. When we entered there was a huge line up and service was great. They greeted us with a smile welcomed us.Recommending this place to anyone visiting Calgary.
