We are so lucky to have Artsies in the Markham community. Libby and Joey are amazing! They work hard each week to create a safe and supportive environment where kids can be themselves at their best. Kids are taught how to make and maintain friendships based on common interests and building each other up. Libby and Joey stress the importance of team building. Artsies is the place we've been waiting for to open up for the past 5 years. The directors, Libby and Joey, put all their creative juices together and help their students flourish in their roles and environment. My daughters have worked with Libby and Joey for several years now through the Markham summer camp programs and we were so happy to find out that they are now opened for the school year as well. We are signed up from Sept-June and my daughters are so excited to show off their increasing confidence and talent with every performance. Thank you Libby and Joey!

Libby, Joey and their teams are wonderful at working with children all ages in passing on their passions for performing arts. My children enjoy working with them in person and virtually to put on a show. They also enjoy their moment to shine during the show as well as the activities during all those informative workshop to prepare for the show.

My friends and family raved about Artsies and it was no joke. My 2 daughters can't get enough of the Artsies family. Their confidence and skills keep growing with every session. Libby and Joey take their time with every student. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I researched and tried out quite a few musical theatre/choirs/music lessons before finding ARTsies. We were looking for something that was of course fun but also professional and educational. We wanted our theatre loving daughter to learn new skills, progress and get better when working hard at something new and gain confidence too. We were so lucky to find ARTsies! It is all of these things and more. Our daughter simply loves everything about ARTSies. The Directors - Libby and Joey push her to set goals and work towards them. They have the ability to encourage growth in her performances with just the right amount of push and stretch. Our daughter thinks the world of them. The last few months of closures and cancelled school have been difficult to navigate as a parent. Libby and Joey quickly and seamlessly responded by moving programs online and this has been our saving grace. Not only has it provided consistency for our daughter when the rest of life is cancelled but it has provided our whole family so much fun. From helping with rehearsals and line running, to dusting off our own filming and editing skills, to costumes and props and social media challenges. We have all been humming the songs, counting down to the online viewing parties and eating the cake after the shows to celebrate. We can’t wait for the next show!

Libby, Joey and Artsies team are amazing.Not only they help children grow in theatre art, performance, music and related activities, they go above and beyond to help children on character development.They are always there to provide support and encouragement for students and families.In addition, they have set up a wonderful example for us on how to support local businesses and the community.We are very blessed that our children get to learn and grow at Artsies.Thank you, Libby, Joey and everyone at Artsies :)

My daughter has participated in a couple of Artsies sessions and is ecstatic with her experience. We are all pleased with the classes, engagement and performances put on by Libby, Joey and the rest of the team. She's already asked me to enrol her in summer camp!

Libby and Joey are dedicated professionals passionate about the arts and inspiring to the kids. My daughter did the summer camp and decided that theatre was her calling :) she says because it was dancing, singing and acting all in one and so much fun! She just wanted to be in stage ! The weekly video emails from Libby keep us patents always informed. The online pictures give us visibility into what the kids are doing and the links to the songs help the kids memorize their lines and songs. I highly recommend Artsies! Coming back for the next session and can’t wait for the big show !

This is a wonderful program to help kids build self esteem, public speaking skills, mastering time management and have fun while doing it. My child has evolved as a performer and a person from being in ARTsies, she is very confident, willing to take risks and believes in herself. These are invaluable life skills, and I'm grateful to ARTsies for providing an environment where my child can thrive. She has so much fun, it's not considered work at all.

ARTSies is the program I have been looking for and couldn’t find. It has everything you could ask for, dancing, acting, singing and so much more and the best part is that it’s taught by people who are professionals and have done this for a living. My three daughters love this program, and so do I. What I love is that no matter how different each of my daughters are Libby and Joey have found a way to work with each of them. For me this program is so much more than just theater, its teaching my children about arts, public speaking, confidence and responsibilities. Huge fan!
