Clayline Pottery Studio

I had an amazing time at Clayline Studio! Susan is a wonderful teacher, she's very attentive and great at making the studio a welcoming environment for first time pottery makers :)

The four owners are phenomenal, always willing to share their knowledge and help you improve. The studio is big, and well laid out, and has such a relaxing vibe. Everyone you meet is exceptionally friendly, but you can also get into your own headspace and relax while you throw your pots if you want too. It's my favourite place in Kelowna and I highly recommend it to anyone on their ceramics journey, all levels of experience are catered for here :)

I was one of the first ten members at Clayline. I had been a member at two other studios but they pale beside Clayline.The studio is organized with good water supply, efficient storage for green ware, bisque and glaze ready ware. The clay and Glaze double trap sinks make clean up a breeze. There are 18 glazes that are beautiful and produce real vibrant colours. Need advise, ask any staff at member, they will share their knowledge. Want to see how I glazed a really nice piece, just ask, the studio is about sharing potting experiences.The hand building area is a little dark for me, but all other aspects of the studio are well thought out. The members area has secure and adequate storage for tools and personal belongings. Don’t need to worry about keys, you have an access code. Don’t need to worry about paper invoices, they use electronic invoice and payment.WOW, four days later and the hand building area is bright. Well done Clayline, you rock.

Susan is an excellent teacher, the space is very well designed, and the creative atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s a great place to learn, build skills and try out new things! I will definitely keep going back to Clayline Pottery Studio

Level 1 wheel class with Allan was a lot of fun! So much to learn but it feels so good when you get to the see the pieces you’ve made.

The Clayline staff and owners are so helpful and kind. I had a great experience with Allan as my instructor for pottery wheel. He is dedicated to providing a positive learning experience to his students, and is very knowledgeable. He has great tips for new and experienced potters. He gives great practical instruction, and if you're interested in the technical side of things he can explain that too.The studio is setup in a very logical way, with dedicated hand building, wheel, glazing and storage areas. The wheel setup is great, with plenty of table space beside the wheel to put tools or finished pots as you work. I also love the clay trap sinks, so you don't have to worry about rinsing in big buckets! A great place to check out for new or experienced potters!
