Bowness Park Boathouse
I enjoyed my experience here. There was a long wait for the pedal boats that we had come for so we decided to get a couple kayaks and switched out a couple hours later. The prices are reasonable and the lake is a nice place to spend an afternoon.

One of the best spots in Calgary for family fun. Loved canoeing in the small section of the Bow river. Safe and fun for first timers. Will definitely go again.

The website said they stop renting at 7:15 pm but they stopped at 7:00 pm right in front of us. Waited in line for 20 minutes to get disappointed.

Horrible experience, the manager was loud, rowdy and argumentative. Our boat got stuck cuz the boat rope wasn't tied down properly and it fell into the water and the boat got jammed within in the first 15 minutes. They took thier sweet time come get my family out and when we said that we still have 30 more minutes to go then they just said no and kept our money. Horrible, so please same your money and don't rent from this place. I wish I could give negative stars to this place based on the experience with the manager as this is the worst experience ever.

Really nice park. Love the boats and wading pool. Lots of trails and large green spaces to play sports on.
