The NASA weekend course gave me information I need as I consider a career in the Solar industry.Overall it was a quick start weekend full of in-class instruction and slides as we followed along with a workbook, and conducted hands-on installation of solar panels onto a section of roof and built two types of pole mounts and did the related electrical wiring and hookup. Prior to the weekend class, extensive on-line learning modules are available to learn which adds to my understanding of the Solar industry.Through networking with course classmates I attended the Solar Canada Conference held in Toronto and made several other Solar industry contacts. Thank you Scott for an impactful course and helpful start.

Recently I attended the NASA practical and theory weekend hosted in Toronto at the International Centre. The material provided and delivery of the course by Scott Seidel was top notch. Scott provided grid tie (net metering) and off grid practicals. As a group we also mounted panels using three different methods. Roof mount, ground mount and pole mount. This course is an excellent segway into the solar industry. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in the solar industry/trade. Thanks again Scott.

Having registered for the course in The North American Solar Academy enabled me to enhancemy technical skills and gain more knowledge in the PV System Design including grid tiedand stand alone applications.Scott is an excellent instructor to teach the materials during the 2 days hands-on workshops,very skilled to explain the calculation for the PV Design as well.In addition to learning about the solar installation's process and the used components,the students take part in the roof, pole and ground mounted solar installation under the supervisionof Scott after he demonstrates and explains how to perform it.One of my best choices to take a course in solar energy design and installation.Highly recommanded.Souad L.

As I am strongly considering a future in Alternative Energy. I Recently attended the NASA weekend course, thought by Scott Seidel. The course materials provided was delivered well and easy to follow, Scott answered all question to give us a clear understanding before moving on. The hands-on portion of this course was a great chance to experience solar installations, we did roof, poll, ground mounts and strung up couple different systems which gave us a good idea of proper installation method.If you have an interest in solar, this is an ideal course to guide you on your path.

I had a great weekend with Scott and my class mates. Leaning about the theory, the steps, the systems and business side of it all. We also had the opportunity to get some hands on training, learning how to set up the different racking systems and roof top application and how to hook it all up. Scott also took the time to make sure that we all understood each step, he was very patient and he made sure we understood before moving forward. An excellent way to get familiar with working with solar. The workshop is both hands-on, where you follow varied installation setups from start to end, with some practical elements of theory. I strongly recommend anyone interested in solar to consider the workshop.
