Staple streak.hoise in Richmond. Food was average and slightly over salted that day. Service was good and attentive. The location is getting dated and would recommend some upgrades.

The keg, steak standards maker, you might find many better steak house around but no complaint to their tradition menu including full size salad, mushroom and one side at your choice as combo for $50. I would rather make it simple instead driving long way to downtown spend more and maybe for same quality of steaks

The restaurant environment is absolutely good for dating or friends gathering! The food was good, especially the steak and salmon were perfectly cooked. And the severs there were super friendly and helpful:) it’s a nice place you would go over and over again.

The Keg is standard fare for steaks.. we’ve never had an issue with the cook on the meat but sometimes their appies can be hit or miss. The lobster bisque was not warm enough and you could even tell by the picture of the mushrooms Neptune that it could have used a bit more time under the broiler.I was happy to see that the bread came with the cheese butter without needing to request for it. For a while it was only by request so that was a nice change.

Dinner and the service were phenomenal. Wonderful experience start to finish and each dish impressed.I will say,one of the best meals we had in a long time. Can’t say enough good things about the experience here. Our server was Robert,he was an absolute delight to have take care of us.will be back soon.

This restaurant needs a facelift. I like the food. However the 2nd waitress who serviced us was passive aggressive on her duties manning our table. Not cool.

I came during the dine out season. I ordered the 14 oz prime rib, lobster bisque, and billy miner pie. Everything tasted great, the only issue I had was the lobster bisque because my friend and I both find it a bit salty. The staff was excellent, all of them were kind and accommodating. Overall, I had a pleasant and lovely experience here.

Took my husband here for birthday dinner for the first time and made a reservation noting the occasion on their website - went through to OpenTable. It was never acknowledged at the reception, the waiter (didn't say his name) who walked us to the table asked and casually said happy birthday. Our waitress (never said her name) didn't ask, just simply took our orders so we didn't bother mentioning. We ordered drinks so water was not offered, we had to ask for it.Food was good, not great. Service was mediocre considering the price of the meal (avg $60+/person). We had been served better at Earls and Cactus Club. Quite disappointed with the Keg, it's a first and last time.Will take our birthday celebrations somewhere else.

First visit since Covid. Mostly still keeps higher standards. Good environment and atmosphere, friendly service. In general, good quality food!However, a few things that are not as good as it used to be.First, calamari, they added pickled peppers to it, not a few, but quite some. For the price, it seems not the right way to do.Second, steaks are not cooked in consistent standards. My friend and I both ordered our steaks medium, mine was good, a little bit over medium; my friend got his nearly well done?!Wish this was only a hiccup post Covid, still like Keg, will definitely be back soon!

Great spot to celebrate wins and milestones. Has stayed reasonable for the times with service always great, was disappointed there was no cold espresso for a “shaft” but great selection otherwise. Lighting was brighter much to our tables enjoyment from other Keg locations. The special of steak and snow crab doesn’t top the steak + lobster. Was happy to get a free dessert, all in the little things that make The Keg visits special.
