Jim was absolutely wonderful! He gave us the much needed confidence as we moved through our wedding planning and was a terrific support for all of our questions and concerns. Jim was a great officiant and we’ve already recommended him to friends! From our initial conversation, we appreciated his guidance. He provided some lovely ideas - from how to involve our parents in the ceremony, to how to personalize the experience for us. Well in advance of the ceremony he shared sample scripts and vows to help us get started early with inspiration.On the day of, Jim was pleasant and did a great job bringing our script to life. He was lighthearted and went along with jokes in the moment, which made it feel natural. One of our guests even asked us if he was a relative! We met Jim in 2019 for coffee to discuss our wedding. After that meeting we cancelled our appointments to meet other officiants. We knew Jim was perfect for us, he is beyond friendly, so funny and it feels like you've known him forever. He really reminded me of my uncle and we booked him the same day.Our wedding was unfortunately postponed three times but Jim was very communicative and was with us every step of the way.We loved that we could decide between having a religious or non denominational ceremony. Jim simply asked us do you want me to say we are here today in the presence of God or friends and family" and accepted our choice

Amazing service, Jim Emerson was in depth during our call to make our plans, had amazing ideas for how to make the Wedding run smoothly. We loved his sense of humor and encouragement to make our day the way we want it. The ideas how to make it more personal and fit to our personalities was great. Much nicer than the plain boring traditional ceremony. Though if that is what you like, he will go with what you want. Thank you Jim for everything.
