The homemade chocolates from Avoca are absolutely outstanding! A wonderful selection, and each one is like a precious jewel of deliciousness. Beautiful presentation. They make the PERFECT gift.Will most certainly come back for more!! If you live in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and visit for an icecream.

It was clear the gelato was made from real berries. The chocolate ice cream was decadent. Will have to come back for the truffles. A little on the spendy side, but the staff were very friendly and the treats were delicious.

Lovely. Absolutely picturesque! ALL ICE CREAM & GELATO ARE MADE IN HOUSE! Something dreamed out of Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls.) flavours we tried were: rocky road, coffee toffee, and mint chip. The mint chip is so good, and NOT GREEN!!! Staff was super friendly and service oriented. Beautifully decorated and the patio is worth a visit...especially at night with the twinkling lights. A MUST TRY!!!

I recently asked Avoca to do a special order for my 60th birthday. They were able to accommodate my request quickly and easily. I had great confidence in them. I never once worried of the chocolates would be delivered or if the special labels I wanted were correct. They double checked everything! The truffles were a big hit and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Avoca Chocolates!

Came by to pickup a small box of chocolates for a friend. 6 truffles for about $20. Super friendly service. Chocolates and ice cream looked delicious! I'm sure my friend enjoyed her gift.

Great neighbourhood ice cream store! The ice cream is dense and not filled with air as compared to the store bought brands giving it a rich, creamy taste. Tried the Nutella gelato and chocolate chip ice cream, both were fantastic

Not sure about 5 star reviews. They probably never had good food to eat. Bought ice cream yesterday. Not a good food at all. Freezed has not been defrosted for years so ice cream tastes like a freezer, waffle cone was old. BIG NO to this place.

A nice quiet place in a quiet neighborhood to have a cup of hot chocolate, buy some chocolates, or have an espresso and some pastry. The coffee is quite good. The madeliennes are delicious. They also have ice cream. The sitting is limited: only one table with two chairs and some barstools at the bar in the window, probably because they don't get crowded, and this is also the good part about this place.
