My first time doing a boudoir shoot. Devon made me feel comfortable and safe in her space. My pics turned out amazing. Great experience.

*Update - After writing this review I did hear from Devan and did get the updated image(s) I was waiting on, which I am grateful for.*I wish I could give Devan a higher review, because in person she was quite lovely to work with (gentle, supportive, professional), but her unresponsiveness and long wait times with no photos and no communication left me frustrated, dissapointed and unsatisfied following the photoshoot.I did an aerial (fitness) photoshoot back in April (about 3 months ago) and while the booking process and photoshoot themselves were easy enough and I have no complaints, I was basically ghosted following the shoot. I have done many photoshoots before and am used to waiting 6-10 weeks for images, but every other photographer has provided me with updates, a timeline, and been responsive when I have messaged to inquire on the status of the edits (or with any other questions). Over the past 3 months I had sent Devan 2-3 messages on FB and (while I could see she was still posting to her social media), my first message was opened and left on read, and the second was completely ignored. Like I said, I can be empathetic and understanding about delays, but I am not okay being ignored for weeks and weeks on end. When I did finally get the edited (3) images from Devan, I was underwhelmed. Please note that this was an aerial pole shoot, which is not Devan's specialty, so I am not going to make the edits the main focus of this review. There was one image where part of my leg was cut off in editing, and rather than explaining why this happened to me, Devan ignored it and sent the image anyway... so I requested the raw image be played around with a bit further and was told 'will do', but this was a few weeks ago and I have been ignored once again. I do not think I will ever get my re-touched image, which isn't right as I paid for it. While I did not spend much money on this mini-shoot, I wanted to share my experience as the lack of communication and ignoring my messages comes across as unprofessional and did cause me much frustration. Note: I was nothing but polite and nice in my messages, so it is not like she was ignoring me because I was rude or disrespectful in any way.I hope that my experience is not the norm and I just had poor luck, but I would not do another photoshoot with Devan purely due to the lack of transparency and communication. And the lack of ownership over delays, slow response time, and editing mishap of the one photo.

Devan was recommended to me by another photographer who was double booked. Because of the recommendation she offered the photo shoot at a discount (50 percent off). Devan was delayed in providing the edited photos and did not offer a further discount but rather several excuses for her delay. (From June 15th to September 3rd) At times I also found her to be flat out unresponsive. When photos were finally ordered (in December from the previous June photo shoot) her print company was difficult to use therefore she completed my order upon request and extra shipping was paid to ensure delivery before Christmas. This was appreciated. What was not appreciated was her cancellation of that order with no indication to me that she had done so. When the pictures did not arrive I found her to be unresponsive to my inquiries. At the suggestion of other photographers I wrote up a review on her page. She responded immediately and agreed to issue me a refund for the prints I had ordered and paid for which she had cancelled. Finally, another photographer assisted me in having the photos printed from a reputable company (not one in the U.S). Although the photos were lovely and Devan can do a good job the reviews on her personal page (which she has since deleted) indicated wedding photos that were never received, inadequate pictures, seriously delayed response times, refunds for poor service that were never issued and similar issues with being ignored completely (until lawsuits were threatened and negative reviews written). Unfortunately, I had also recommended her to my son’s fiancé for their wedding proposal shoot shortly after my daughter’s grad photos were taken (before I had any serious issues with her company). Since writing my review on her Facebook page it has come to my attention that she has misrepresented my daughter’s engagement by making false claims (trespassing) about the location of the engagement and the particulars about the events surrounding that occasion to others in writing. I hope others find this review and choose wisely.

Devan is amazing, photographer, with a unique eye for beauty, I loved the boudoir sessions I had booked with her, she made me feel even more confident in myself and was very paitent. She was able to help guide me with posing of body and face. I also loved her natural editing of photos using only lighting and leaving my figure natural.It was so empowering, I'm definitely booking again.

My family had Christmas photos taken mid-November, which I thought would give us lots of time to get prints for Christmas presents. I finally received all of the digital photos Dec.6. I placed a large order for prints and still have not received them. It's almost March. Everytime I try to contact her, there is no response. I am now out almost $500 for these photos and a photographer who won't even give me the time of day! DO NOT BOOK THIS PHOTOGRAPHER UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY STOLEN!

Devan is wonderful to work with! She is fun and professional, and great with getting my son to cooperate. We've had a few photoshoots with her now and I am always happy with the results. Thank you, Devan!

Devan is excellent! She's done pet photos, family photos and even our wedding photos! She's professional, kind and great with kids! Highly recommend her for any photo needs.
