I was impressed with the owners hospitality and smile as well as of the decorations and menu but lost my appetite when I see the map of my country (Eritrea) was united with Ethiopia. We have a sovereign country and was so upset. And swear not to come to this restaurant again.

absolutely phenomenal home cooked food for a fair price, certified BUSTING. you cant leave until you try the samosas, so fresh and flavourful. the staff is so kind and wonderful, shout out to rebka - sweetest lady to walk this earth, PERIOD!!and they got ice cold beers :)

My first time to try Ethiopian food, and my dine in experience with them was amazing! Their service was great and you’ll feel very welcome. Their coffee was outstanding!

What a wonderful dining experience! We shared a Timatim Fit-Fit to start followed by the lamb Awaze Tibs. Everything was delicious, and we loved using the Injera as an eating utensil (although I’m sure our kind and helpful waitress must have been amused at our ineptitude!). Highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Ethiopian food in Osborne Village! I had been to Massawa many times when living in the area years ago and was curious to try their food since the change. It is still delicious with high quality ingredients and large portion sizes.We had the lentil samosas for an appetizer, which were served with simple mixture of finely chopped jalapeño and onion. The pastry was fried just right.Sharing the Taste of Ethiopia combo with doro tibs, keye siga wot, alecha siga wot, shiro and yesom firfir was a great way to try a variety of dishes. The standout was the doro tibs with the rosemary. I would recommend sharing a combo between two people, as the portion sizes are large with all of the injera it is served with.We opted for two glasses of wine; however, next visit I will try their Ethiopian Buna.The staff were kind, helpful and appreciative of the business. The restaurant is decorated with bright colours and has soothing music playing in the background. We look forward to returning to Mesob and trying more of their dishes!

Incredibly kind owners. The portions are large and the flavours are incredible. Each platter comes with a variety of meats and vegetables each with unique flavour profiles. The interior is cosy and features beautiful art.

the food is so amazing i truly feel so relaxed and content after eating. They use high quality ingredients everything is SO GOOD! I feel like i haven’t had real food like this in so long. The owner is wonderful and spoilt us. Makes you feel right at home. an incredibly authentic experience. thank you so much!

Fantastic little hidden gem in the heart of Osborne. The hospitality and the food is top notch! Rebka (my apologies if i didnt correctly write your name down) is a wonderful host.Recommend 10/10 - will be visiting again!

MESOB ETHIOPIAN EATS
This restaurant is simply the most Authentic Ethiopian restaurant in winnipeg right now. Made me feel Nostalgic. The Decor, Music and scent of the restaurant reminds me of back home. Presentation of the food was on point. Food arrived hot and was very delicious. Food is reasonably priced. We were served by the owner, she was very polite and welcoming. Their traditional Ethiopian Coffee was some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Ethiopian cuisine experience.
