I had the Zubu Zubu tonkotsu ramen. The noodles were delicious and chewy, and didn't go soggy. The chasu was great. The broth was flavorful but quite salty and oily, I liked it but it might not be for everyone. I'm not sure I'm a fan of white onions in ramen.Overall I'd give it a B+, I will definitely return to try more items.

Don't understand why this place doesn't have better reviews. One of the best broths in town and everything is certainly better than 90% of the other ramen shops in Vancouver. Sure it's not as good as what you'd get in Fukuoka Japan but it's one of the best local ramen places. Spacious with lots of seating, kind and responsive staff, parking nearby. What's not to like? Photo is after I already messed with the food the presentation was certainly better when it arrived.

I had the spicy pork ramen, it was pretty good. It looks like this location deals most with take out and delivery.We also had a beer but seems the beer selection could be improved.

Always a good bowl of ramen at Zubu. I love the fact that you can order extra noodles and broth on the side! They do have a little patio available right by the street parking in front which is a great option if you want to bring your furry friends along.

Tried to eat here but no one would take my order. Stood at the front door nearly 10 min while the girl in the back stared at her phone. I called out to her 3x but she never looked up from her phone. Kitchen guys came out, walked past me for a delivery, walked right back to the kitchen. Finally at about 10 min a guy came from the back to take my order. Seriously? Second time here, service terrible both times.

I ordered the curry beef sukiyaki online and was able to get 25% off my first order.Good and the bad.The good, flavour of the curry was not bad, sweeter than the typical Japanese curry. Miso soup was on point and not too salty.The bad, rice was warm and not hot enough. The amount of meat in the middle seemed scarce considering it’s beef skirt or table cut. The curry seemed a bit too thick and it felt like I ended up eating a thick paste like curry.Not sure if I would order the donburi again but I may try their ramen. Also you may want to install something for the fruit flies as there was way too many while I was waiting for my food.

The taste is just okay. I like Tonkatsu more than spicy chicken. It ordered hot but it’s too spicy for me. I think the noodles should be more soften than they are.

Best broth in town. I find that at other places the deeper you get into the bowl, the salty the broth gets. Not here. Husband and I both had thr tonkotsu bowl and he finished the bowl clean lol. Went in on a rainy Saturday and we were the only ones there. We ordered at the counter and the server delivered it to our table. Would definitely go again and try other menu items, they all look so good!

I’ve only stopped in here for takoyaki and chicken karaage while quickly passing by the area. Both appetizers were tasty enough to return for, and now I just need an excuse to come try their ramen. (The other reviews have got me intrigued! Will report back / revise this review when that happens.)
