Ecole Cariboo Hill Secondary School

A small older highschool with above average teachers and far below average sports teams. Had an automotive mechanics class that is unique.

I’m not sure if it’s this school, but sorry if it’s not.Some fourth graders from a nearby school came to leaf park for lunch today, however, some teenage boys were also playing there too. They were swearing, spitting, and also tried to take our soccer ball. Not what I expected, since everyone is not perfect, it’s ok

It might be the smallest school in the neighborhood or in the district or whatever, and yes it doesn’t have the best reputation, but it really is a fine school

Although there are a lot of really good teachers here, their receptionist needs a lot more empathy training, she was very rude to my brother who is new to the province and was just looking for guidance and help and was extremely rude and had a nasty tone with him. This school also fails to notify parents when children don't show up for school.

I was in the first class to go through all years at CHJH having just moved to Canada from Michigan. I subsequently finish high school at Burnaby Central (1967), and then a Science Degree followed by Medical School at UBC.. Looking back, Cariboo was the highlight of my years in school. With the help of wonderful teachers,, I learned to believe in myself and to push to accomplish goals I'd never thought possible. I still stay in touch with friends I met at Cariboo.I know live in California after a 40 year career in Emergency Medicine. I come to Vancouver periodically and also make a trip past Cariboo and talk to the students. Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and teaching skills.Robert Gayou MDSanta Barbara California

Literally no one here the teachers are awful and rude

Though teachers are good, Toxic bullying environment, gang groups and poor school management attitudes, no precautions in the management strategy.

I'm so glad I went I this school, my favorite teacher was Mr. Favaro, Math teacher. Amazing man

I am studying in Cariboo Hill Secondary School now. I think the teachers and classmates in this school are good. The teachers are willing to help me when I have problems. And most of the classmates are kind and friendly. I enjoy studying in this school. But this school area is a little bit small. But overall, this school is good.
