Highly recommend, very nice guys! I had an emergency on my drive home from Ottawa, called them and was able to get serviced right away. Work was quick and for a great price, would definitely return if I lived in the area!

Great place to get your car serviced, Carl got me in amongst his other work and changed my serpentine belt. Price was great and work very professional. My goto place from now on.

When my steering wheel started shaking as I was on my way home from Peterborough, I knew something was wrong. I was hours away from home and very scared by the smell of burning coming from my car. I found Low Down using my phone and drove directly there for help. Carl, the owner, was so amazing. He assessed the situation to determine my caliper had seized. He suggested I take my kids to the local diner while he and his team fixed the problem. I was on my way home within three hours of pulling off the highway. I am so grateful for how willing he was to help me when I was in need. The world needs more people like Carl!

What can I say … these guys…they’re fantastic. They really saved my butt!I was in the middle of nowhere and only by the grace of God and Google did I find them.They ordered my part and pulled my car in without an appointment .. I went to the diner down the street , had a quick bite to eat and I walked back. ..my vehicle was ready. Seriously amazing service . Thank you guys .. see you soon with a care package on my way back from Ottawa.

Amazing customer service! Thank you for helping a traveler in need! There’s nothing worse than having car troubles when you’re far from home. Even though Carl was really busy, he looked at my car right away and luckily it was an easy fix and I was able to get on my way asap!

As a drop-in customer to Low Down (many dashboard lights went off while heading up Hwy 35/115), Carl immediately took the time to assess my van and ensure that my family was safe to resume our long-weekend trip to the Ottawa Valley.Carl isolated the issue, examined the components, confirmed that we were road safe (the sensor was the issue) and sent us on our way in 25 minutes.His concern was for our safety, and I had to gently insist that he accept payment for his fine service.Much appreciated Carl.Living 100 km away, Low Down will not be my 'local' shop, but if you are closer it should be.
