McMullen's Refrigeration & Heating

We've done business with McMullen's on numerous occasions and previously been happy. Recently, we wanted some additional duct work done, plus some other details regarding the effectiveness of our air conditioning, humidification, etc. Despite a visit from a salesman, plus a follow up call by me and where I was informed us that we'd have a quote on our desks shortly, we heard nothing. I gave up after 3 weeks...what's the point, right? I hate it when people waste my time. I also hate poor service. If you didn't want our business, you should have told us, upfront instead of letting us wonder what was going on...communicate and don't let people down who were depending upon you. I have used McMullen's twice now this year, we had an issue with a badly piped (by another company) in-floor heat system that was leaking and the technician came in and did a great job removing the old system and installing the new, much tidier and robust system for us.We also hired them for a gas line rough in and heater install for a newly built garage. They have always been transparent on costs, very professional, the technicians call before they come, explain their work and leave the space clean and tidy when they go.Glen has been immensely helpful for all our questions on both plumbing and heating. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with this company.

For several years our family has accessed McMullen's when our furnace has needed attention. Most recently this occurred today. As usual, and with their traditional professionalism and focus on customer service, McMullen's provided excellent and expedient service. Without doubt whenever we require future assistance we will always reach out to McMullen's. We would highly recommend it for anyone.

When no one else would answer the phone, Mcmullens not only answered but showed up and fixed our furnace at 11 at night, it was put for no less than an hour because of these amazing people. the employee was knowledgeable quick and saved us a few dollars, 10/10 recommend for any of your furnace issues.

This company is quick to respond and not out to rip you off on emergency furnace repairs. We've had a couple and they've answered our call in a timely fashion and not tried to overcharge us. Other places have. Please call this honest outfit for a happy outcome.

I am been super happy with the high efficiency furnace and central air I had installed a couple years ago. I really seen that difference this year when I decided to take the chance to remain on floating rate with my energy provider. Our energy bill remained consistent as the previous year. No outrageous bills! Super happy with the system and the great professional work.

I had an issue with my Carrier HRV, and according to the Carrier manufacturer site, the local experts on that unit is McMullen's. Had a repair technician come out, and he diagnosed that both blower motors were shot (ohm'ed out according to the RO) and the control board also. They said it would likely be better to just replace the whole unit as the parts would be very expensive. I was to receive a quote for parts replacement and also replacement of the entire unit. 2 weeks go by and no quote, so I emailed them. Another week goes by with again no response so I call to speak to someone directly. Why is it so hard to get a quote? After another week I finally get some numbers ($1800) for parts cost plus additional cost for labor, but again the recommendation to replace the entire unit which would run from $3000-4000. I was suspect of the diagnosis from the start, as it's highly unlikely that could happen without a large power surge, so I decided to call in an second opinion as I was very unhappy with the customer service at this point. Thank goodness I did. Within 10 minutes he had figured out that the problem was the motorized damper. Both blower motors were perfectly fine and so was the control board. This from a technician who had never even worked on this HRV before, let alone an expert". Replaced the damper for $260 and one hour labor and my unit is up and running just fine again. Bottom line
