Terrible service. I booked an appointment online and they contacted me about 6 times asking me to change the time - offering me canceled spots, earlier times, etc. Unfortunately, that was the only time that worked for me as I work full-time. It was during the afternoon before the long weekend, but I didn't think it would be an issue since it was an available appointment time that they offered.Lo and behold, on the day of the appointment, I got a notice that my appointment had been canceled because someone had a stomach bug"...Enjoy your extra long weekend!"

Dr. Parekh is the most thorough Optometrist I've seen in decades of wearing corrective lenses. All the staff are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I'll be back and I'd recommend to everyone!

You honestly won't find a more conscientious and caring optometrist. I wore glasses for decades and have met a LOT of eyecare professionals in my day! Now that my daughter has inherited my poor vision, we've recently had to find one for her. Dr Parek is great with kids, knowledgeable, and generous with his time and expertise. HIGHLY recommend!

I've seen Dr. Parekh twice now, and I am very impressed. He is the most thorough optometrist I've ever encountered and gives excellent vision care. I appreciate his knowledge and his sense of humour: he is very personable and pleasant to deal with. I appreciated his explanations during the exam, and his willingness to answer all my questions. I feel secure and confident knowing he's my optometrist, and I would recommend him heartily. Well worth the two-hour drive from home.

Supremely excellent assistance, prompt, friendly and professional!I've been getting contacts with them for years, and recently got both my new prescription and glasses with them as well. Love the personalized feel to the store, the wonderful staff are always willing to help with questions and recommendations. Highly recommended if you want to shop local and get fantastic service!

Rutland Optical has been FANTASTIC to work with!! Some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time! Dr. Parekh was so thorough in his exam with my 6 year old son. Very kind and patient and explained everything to us in a way we could understand. His caring manner and light humour made the entire process for my son more comforting.The ladies helped my son pick out a perfect pair of glasses for him and made him feel great during the process. And they were extremely kind. I honestly could not be any happier with their service! Also the turn around time for my sons glasses was 6 days. Which was a bonus. Thank you thank you thank you!! I will definitely recommend Rutland Optical moving forward.
