Glassford Park

When I was a child my brother and all my friends played in the this park, we always had the time of pur lives. All of us loved the sprinkler and when we were done we use to lye in the sun on our towels, and talk about things such as what we would do when we go older.The other highlights was the swings andthe slide plus the Mary go round.Us kids didn't have much but we always had the greatest times on all the town and to offer us.Then there was parks and recreation at that time it was free to all the children in the area. They would do arts and crafts tell us stories and play with us kids almost every other day.It was one of the best things going in my childhood and I find it to be fond memories for me.Now that I have grown up the park has changed thrre is no longer a sprinkler.The slide has grown to a much better and bigger play area. I believe the swings are still relatively the same.I go past there on occasion going everywhere else but it is still nice to look in and relive the memories of my childhood.If you are in Wallaceburg and have children please bring them and let them create memories of their own.RespectfullyMichael
