Honestly if I could give more stars I would. The ladies there were all so helpful. They noticed my kids getting a little antsy so she brought them over to the play area they have while you shop. They all helped my daughter find and try on the shoes. Even helped me look up the requirements on their laptop web my phone died. I haven’t had customer service like this in a long time.

Friendly and had what needed. They have more stock than the north store, but they work together to provide great services to the dancers in Calgary.

We tried to cash in some store credit but the owner refused, saying she had sold the store.The owner was working there and we talked to her so clearly she's still involved somehow. Both company names appear together on the websiteThis screams legal fraud: using the excuse of a name change to refuse to acknowledge the store credit. The owner literally pocketed our money and is refusing to acknowledge it in any way. How many other people has she stolen from? It's a disgrace!

Employees know what they're talking about and make sure you're getting the right attire and the right size.

DO NOT ACCEPT STORE CREDIT FROM THIS STORE, THEY WILL NOT HONOUR IT !!! They only offer store credit for returns. I accepted store credit after being told that it had no expiry date and I would be able to use it at any time.I wanted to use the credit today but the owner refused to honour the credit saying she had sold the store. She said she had no responsibility and neither did the new owner.First of all, she was literally working there. Her name appears as the owner of the store. Second, she made no move to contact me when the store was being sold to tell me the credit was expiring. She had my number on file.I was open to being flexible but she refused to do anything. She was totally ok with keeping my money. I wouldn't mind if this was a few dollars but this was a significant amount. To steal my money this way is so unprofessional. Disappointed to see such awful behaviour from a business.Please be careful coming here! I don't want other people to get stolen from like I did.

Pretty, colourful store. Very helpful staff too. Picked up a gymnastics leotard for my daughter.

Staff is always willing to go above and beyond to help you find what you need. Very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of the store.

City Dancewear South is amazing!!!! I went in for a pointe shoe fitting and was so so impressed with their knowledge, kindness, and patience. Molly fitted me and was excellent in every way. They were so good about my kids being there at the beginning too - my kids loved their toy area and gum ball machine. They went the extra mile and made me feel so comfortable. I will be coming back here again and again for all my dance needs!! Couldn’t recommend more highly. Thanks so much!!

The website states that they are open 12-4 inn Sundays. Be warned that they are not. I just drove into Calgary, and planned my entire day around their working hours, to find the door closed and locked and the posted hours saying they close on Sunday. If their website had given this information I would not have wasted my entire day today. There are many other dancewear stores which I will be visiting, I promise I will not be back here.

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICEAVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Not sure what's up at this Store location. Disorganized mess, wall was being repaired. Probably should have just closed the Store to fix.Had to trek to back of store to find staff. Manager and helper were cold, unfriendly and unhelpful, totally acted like I was a nuisance for being a store customer! Horrible experience from this second visit ever.
