I had very hard time at this day care. I sent my little kid here, and my kid experienced the worse start of education and independence here because of the main teacher of the preschool. His self steam was impacted negatively. We paid higher than normal tuition and we were always worried for our child. The only good things about this day care was online camera which helped me to watch these bad behaviors by my own eyes.In the few first days, my son asked for his mom, meanwhile he made a ball with the tissue under his bowl. The teacher refused to give him food while others were eating theirs and was arguing roughly with my son to fix the tissue. Although at the first day, I told them he doesn't know English yet, she argued with him to open the tissue in order to eat the lunch, when he couldn't and ripped the rest of the paper they took it as a bad behavior.I watched everything and when we nicely asked the teacher to help him to learn by showing him and put the food in front of him, the main teacher started to show my little kid apparent ignorant and aggression continually. She behaved very rudely and aggressively with me several times although I tried to tell her we like her and we just try to give the clue about what works better for our kid.My son always thought other kids are more important and desirable than him.Other time I sent notice to daycare that my son may need more times to go washroom than normal so please help him to do so & be comfortable. But when he asked the teacher to go to washroom before going to home, she didn't let him. When I saw my son is crying I asked them to take him to washroom, the other staff questions me impolitely how many times he should go to washroom and then scream in front of my son to call Mrs. Min.They also humiliated my son for wearing snow pants when the weather was changed just for few days; or imitate his cry in front of him at the early days of joining the daycare. When a child leaved the class sooner the main teacher told that kid, hooray you won! So my kid always thought he is a looser if we picked him up later than the other guy.The other day, my son had an scratch on his face and the main teacher kept asking my son, did your dad hurt you? did your mom scratched you? ... Instead of asking what happened? Is someone did it? ...Also, once at pickup time I saw another staff garbed my son's winter gloves and threaten him if you don't say PLEASE help me, I will give your gloves to your teacher. I got my son's gloves from her, then my son, told me run run, why she wanted to take my gloves! We had decided twice in a few month to change the daycare and forget about the money. Once the main teacher realized she changed her behavior noticeably, and the other time, Ms. Min and Ms. Nathalie talked to the teacher about that. I should mention that during COVID time changing pre-school was even more difficult than usual. Also, twice the teacher hurt my son, accidentally, at pickup time: once on his eye and the other time bumped his head to the cabin ... she even didn't bother herself to come and describe us what happened. In addition to these experience, the food was not something all kids from all background would like as it was not international food and my son ended up hungry all the time. There was more good and bad, however my main concern here was the unequal, aggressive behavior of the main teacher to my innocent kid.

Being a first-time mom, and in the midst of a pandemic, I was feeling extremely nervous about having my infant in a preschool program, but I needed to return to work so we signed our son up for the Infant program at Munchkin Manor.Being teachers (both my husband and I), we have very specific expectations for our boy -- and honestly, the team at Munchkin Manor exceeded our expectations! The staff of the Infant Program are so attentive and loving, and of course, the same goes for the rest of the staff! Their programming keeps our very active boy engaged and happy each and every day.Our son has now moved on to the Toddler Program, and while that transition was a difficult one, within a week, he was happy and content!Thank you to Natalie, Min and the rest of the hardworking staff at Munchkin Manor! Our family truly appreciates your dedication and hard work!

My daughter’s been attending the child care since Preschool last year. This was her first time being away from us for a significant amount of time and also her first time being in an English speaking environment. This obviously led to tears every morning for the first few months but the teachers were super patient and understanding and she now loves going to school".We can only say great things about this centre. My daughter loves her teachers and classmates. We love Munchkin Manor. The whole team is warm

I send my baby into this daycare right after his 1st birthday and he’s been attending for almost 6 months now. Both my baby and my family loved loved and loved this place. I was surprised that my baby transit so smooth with no cry at all, manager Natalie is so friendly and easy to communicate, and i can truly tell all teachers here loves working with kids. My baby will give his teacher a hug with big smile every morning I drop him, and he came back surprises me with new stuff he learned each day. Infant 2 teachers are so sweet and they even made me a little card for my wedding day. I can able to see my baby thru the webcam when I miss him and knowing every single details about his meal, diaper and activities thru the report. There is no more word I can express my gratitude to this center, and if I’m having second baby in the future, I’ll definitely send him in!!

Our daughter joined The Munchkin Manor as an infant, and she is now in the toddler program. From day one we were so pleased and impressed with the entire Munchkin Manor team. They are so wonderful that they are a family. Even with all the COVID protocols, they are still able to develop a close relationship with each child and make them feel loved. They give us the best of gifts: knowing that our daughter is happy, safe and always engaged in learning activities. We have zero hesitation in strongly recommending The Munchkin Manor.

We have been sending our son to Munchkin Manor for nearly six months, starting when he was 11 months old. I was nervous before starting daycare as this is my first child (and thus first daycare experience), but our time could not be going any better. My little one made the transition with ease- never a single tear! His teachers have been so attentive and caring towards him. He eagerly runs in to the centre each morning and waves enthusiastically, blowing kisses when he leaves.Regarding COVID, they have been abundantly diligent with protocols and I have always felt confident that the safety of the kiddos is the foremost priority.Overall, we are so happy with our choice to send our little one here. The teachers and administrators at Munchkin Manor are passionate educators- they love what they do and it shows!

My son was 10 months old when he joined and he was taken care of so so so well. I am so happy with the teachers, management, facilities and the transparency and flexibility they have. To know your baby is taken care of so well is such a mental relief. But Unfortunately we moved to different place and had to join him in different daycare but not a single day care I have seen so far had met the standards that the Munchkin has set for me. Love it. I hope they start new branches in Durham location as well soon.

Our daughter has been attending the Munchkin Manor since July 2017. She started off in the infant room, which was a bit rocky at first - for both my daughter, and I. As a first time mom, leaving my child with someone was the hardest thing I ever had to do. However, the educators at Munchkin Manor made the transition easier for us. We cannot say enough good things about the educators and management at this facility. They have been with us through all the stages in our daughter's development, and we couldn't be happier with the care they are providing. Our daughter transitioned very well to the toddler program and has made very strong relationships with not only the educators, but the children in her classrooms as well. Ana and Louise (Toddler Room #1) also supported our decision to potty train our daughter after she turned two, and they were both phenomenal in assisting us while our daughter was in their care. The option to access the monitoring system was a huge plus for us. Not necessarily to watch her 24/7 (although that's what happened the first couple months haha), but just to check in and see what she's up to. Many times, I've logged in and have seen several of the educators being affectionate to our daughter - hugs, kisses on the head, and great laughs! This makes me so happy!More importantly than anything else, our daughter is so happy to be at the Munchkin Manor! There is nothing more a parent could ask for than that. The learning, the games, the vocabulary she has picked up, the friendships...etc., are all great too - but most importantly, our daughter is safe, happy and healthy and we couldn't be more thankful to everyone at Munchkin Manor for that.

Our daughter has been attending The Munchkin Manor for the last 3 months and I cannot speak highly enough about the facility! The staff are incredible! They are very accommodating to our daughters dietary needs which is really important to us. Our daughter, who is 1, absolutely loves it! She loves her teachers and her classmates. She never wants to leave! I also love that we get daily report cards and have the ability to see her on camera. Overall we are extremely happy with our decision to enroll her at The Munchkin Manor! We have referred friends who are just as happy as us! They are by far the best daycare in the city.
