Great Jerk Chicken. I make a point of coming here every time I am in Sudbury. The portions fill me up and the food is just delicious. Highly recommend you check this Sudbury secret.

Stopped for a quick pickup lunch today. In and out in less than 5 minutes. The service was great, selection wasn't massive, but I prefer it that way. The food smelled great, and I ended choosing the large jerk chicken with macaroni. Will defintely be coming back :)

We really enjoyed the authentic Caribbean flavors at this hidden gem! Juicy smokey jerk chicken, rich oxtail and flavorful goat and chicken curry. They also have roti we have yet to try. The pictures speak for themselves. Highly recommended if you enjoy Caribbean cuisine. We will definitely be back.

Took my daughter to flames on a girl's day, she loved it, said it was the best she had since she was in Jamaica.I had oxtail and chicken she had a roti, both were superb. We shared an order of Festival, this to was tasty.Customer service was great.I love coming here, now

Was super happy to find a carribean establishment in this town. I called ahead to make sure there was plantain. Upon arrival, there was not a menu for me to reference. I paid $18 for a SMALL oxtail with rice and peas and was served what u seen in that picture. A half meal. As for the plantains they actual do not cut slice them in fact they cut them into small medallions ( like sliced cucumbers) and then charge 3 for $1. Not pleased with the amount of food I got for what I paid. Taste wise the rice n peas can gwan ... mac was not good... jus pasta n miracle whip no veg in it or flavor. N the oxtail was ok as well. Expected more must unhappy about the plantain....won't come back.

Update... Jan 27, 2023.... we have been going here for a few years now... That girl knows her roots... black cake... delicious... festivals .. crispy.. jerk chicken... mild but flavorful... ginger coconut drops.... Perfect. Support this girl.. thanksWas so nice to have some flavour finally. Been here in Sudbury since Sept 2017 and today I found our take out spot. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. Love the homemade hot sauce.

So happy to find Caribbean food in Sudbury!!! We came into Flames after a quick google search for Caribbean food. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and the food was on point! Everything we ate was tasty (jerk chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, pasta salad, plantain, patty, even the hot sauce was great !) The portions were perfect too! will definitely return when we’re in Sudbury. They even had coconut drops!!!Thank you for the delicious meal.

OHHHH MY ITS still amazing food . Haven't lived in Sudbury for over 4 years . First week back I'm trying all my old favs. This restaurant ranks top 3 in Sudbury for me . Just mouth watering amazing flavor , huge portions all for under 20 bucks . Or 20 with a tip.I had Jerk Chicken on rice , oxtail gravy and some slaw . Man what a great supper . Now I should get back to it before it gets cold, if you've never tried this this is as close as you're getting to Jamaican food without being there . I must add that it's not overly spicy either the jerk which is nice touch it's perfectly seasoned

The minute you walk in the door you’re just taken with the delicious smells of amazing food waiting for you.Alice is fantastic, super friendly & very patient as we figured out what we wanted to order.In all honesty, we pretty much wanted to order everything lolWe settled on 3 daily specials for $10+tax each and a small shrimp for my little person.Don’t let the container size fool you, it was a lot of food per order but so good & filling. Just the right amount of heat with the sweet & the in house hot sauce is fantastic!!!!!!We all shared a little from each container & not one complaint. Simply delicious from the jerk chicken to the curry chicken, curry shrimp & the sauce & gravy over the rice ….. killer. The coleslaw had the perfect amount of sweet to balance out the heat.Definitely will be back and I highly recommendNo pics as the smell in the car had everyone salivating to get home & eat lolThis amazing independently owned business is one I’ll visit each & every trip to Sudburry. This is quite the little hidden gem, the food is great and the selection of beverages from the Caribbean is plentiful. I recommend the jerk patties, festival, and a serving of plantains with a nice ginger beer to complement!
