Taz the Tailor

Got my dress tailored here a week before the event and it came out perfect!! He’s super sweet and you can tell that he’s passionate about his work. I highly recommend him. I will definitely be coming back here for all my alterations.

My husband and I recently went to Taz the Tailor for both are tailoring needs:My husband had a suit pant that was stitched way too tight. It was for a groomsmen outfit for an upcoming wedding and he needed more room in the pant (or else risk ripping the pants). Thad was able to miraculously re-stitch the pant to provide that extra room. This was not an easy feat as it required effectively taking the pants apart and then putting them back together. The pants now fit perfectly!I had a bridesmaid dress altered by Thad. He was able to quickly discern how much length need to be hemmed off the bottom without altering the fall of the dress. Hemming may not be the most complicated thing to do but when it comes to women’s dresses, it is critical to ensure the fall does not change. Thad was skillfully able to do both!We will definitely be using Taz the Tailor for all our tailoring needs!

I went to Taz for tailoring services for myself and my baby brother over the last two weeks to gear up for wedding and graduation season. Taz was prompt, professional, and courteous. You can tell he is interested in what makes the most sense for his clients to achieve the look we wanted. I would recommend him for all my friends.

Taz did a amazing job. I paid for my daughter prom dress to be altered sent her measurements and all. But when it arrived it didn't fit her hips or hug her thighs like it was supposed to. So I jumped on google and found taz. We only had two and a half weeks left before prom. Dropped it off the day after it was delivered. Taz got it altered and fixed to clap to hold it at the top, a day before. And his price was great as well!!!! Thank you taz. We will definitely be back!!!!

Needed a quick turn around alteration for a bridesmaid dress and Taz the Tailor absolutely came through. He was exceptionally professional, very efficient, and did an amazing job with my dress. If you’re in or around Detroit, Taz should be your tailor of choice!

Thad was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very attentive to details while adjusting my white coats and provided quick service at an extremely reasonable price! I would absolutely recommend for any alterations.

Stopped by their shop last night with a friend and was not only impressed by Taz’s pieces, but his genuine demeanor and making us feel at home was great within itself. He made everyone in the room feel welcomed and even threw together a piece for one of the artist’s making live music in the shop. The environment taz has created reflects more than just clothing, it is a community within itself and is appreciated by all that i had the pleasure to meet last night.

Taz is definitely THEE best person ever! He’s super cool and efficient. He fixed my dress for my birthday and it turned out beautifully. He’s a wonderful person and an amazing tailor. The customer service was amazing as well! Just a 10000/10 experience.

My experience with Taz the Tailor was amazing! I needed a formal dress to be shortened and altered in a few ways. When I called him he was able to get me in right away. He was super nice and had a good eye for alterations. He was able to accommodate my budget and the alterations were done in less than a week! The dress fit like a glove after he was done with it! I highly recommend him for any and all alterations. I already sent one of my friends to him and she had a great experience as well.

I went to Taz with a four layer tulle dress that was six inches too long when I was wearing heels. A week before the event he had it perfectly tailored to mid-calf just like I asked so that I could wear it to my upcoming event and later to the renaissance fair. He was incredibly kind to both me and my partner and made us feel like VIP's, not just like and other client. I cannot give enough praise!
