Shelby's Shawarma - West 5
Had the privilege to meet the manager, Puneet, last night and we had an awesome chat. He lives in the area and serves delicious food to our community here in West 5, but also the Talbot Village location. I strongly recommend the rice/fries mix with chicken and beef bowl, it filled me up after a solid swim-workout last night!

I have been eating at Shelby's since they opened and I have also noted that this locations portions sizes are very small compared to the other locations. I love shelbys, but this portion size issue needs to be fixed.**********************Update******************************************Well I did come back for a visit to your location and I did find the portions were back to what I would say is more in line with what I would expect.Thanks for listening and you will see my continued business.

Great food prepared fast and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This location is modern, clean and all new in a great location with all kinds of nearby shops and stores. I will be going back again soon.

Flavour was good but holy heck was this oily. Couldn’t finish my meal for fear that I’d get really sick from the oil. Would not order again.

Has nothing to do with authentic shawarma, low grade chicken and I saw that they used days old Chicken, the wrappers were absolutely drenched in oil, by far the worst wrap I had. Definitely not going back.

Truly outstanding food. Drove in from the states and was not disappointed. Got the Shelby's Shawarma and the Chicken Boutine and they were both amazing. Best in za west. Will be back again soon!

I had their shawarma for the first time and it was phenomenal. I am from Windsor and we have lots of shawarma shops here. When i ate from this place, i realized that shawarma from Windsor is nothing compared to this. They cook their pita bread in front of you in the store. It's fresh and has authentic crispiness to it. It was so good that i can drive 170km to have it again.

Today was my 2nd day in a row having lunch here. I was having a tough time deciding what to have. Puneet suggested a menu item for me to try and I was not disappointed.
