Farm Boy

The interior of this store is clean & well organized! They have an array of Farm Boy exclusive items that I particularly loved sifting through. The take-away section is quite vast, from sushi & sandwiches, to salads & dips, all looking very fresh & delicious! The bakery was full of decadent items & the produce section have some items you may not be able to find in a traditional grocery store. My only criticisms would be that the isles are a little small, almost impossible for two carts to manage at a time & many items were quite expensive, but this is expected in a higher-end grocer. I will certainly be returning!!

I recently visited Farm Boy's grocery store and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. It made it challenging to justify spending extra on everyday items, especially when there are more affordable alternatives available.Despite the higher prices, I will say that the shopping experience at Farm Boy's was pleasant. The store was well-organized and clean, creating a welcoming environment. The staff members were friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. I also found their selection of fresh produce and bakery items to be of high quality.To sum it up, Farm Boy's grocery store stands out for its unique product offerings and commitment to quality. However, the prices can be a deterrent, especially for those on a tight budget or looking for more affordable options. If you're willing to spend a bit more for specialty items or want to indulge occasionally, Farm Boy's can be worth a visit. But for everyday grocery needs, you might want to explore other stores that offer a better balance between uniqueness and affordability.

New, very clean and organized supermarket, though groceries looked very overpriced. Went to try to grab a strawberry shortcake for a birthday and even though there were four people behind the bakery counter, it took a few minutes of awkward staring before anyone approached me. That’s okay, the cake is pretty good, not too sweet and the whipped cream was light with the right amount of vanilla. Only $25 for the 8” cake.

Visit May 18, 2022 for groceries. Clean, bright, well organised, friendly staff. Good selection of items, a good number of their own brands. Hot take-away deli and salad bar looks great. Prices reasonable. Perfect scores from the recent (March, 2022) Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit food facility inspections.

Took me a few times to really appreciate this store. As someone that manages a retail out let I can really see the effort that goes into the merchandising and customer service. The in-stock is excellent and the butcher that I talked to was amazing Keep up the good work...!!!

We had the Christmas family turkey supper and it was excellent. Only issue was for 8 people it only had one dish of potato that wasn’t completely full. Less sprouts and more potato would have been better

So glad they opened a store in Barrie, we used to drive to Newmarket to shop there. So clean and we'll organized. Absolutely love their breakfast sausage, breads, pastries. Their fruits and vegetables are always so fresh and they have a huge selection. Bought a bouquet of tulips this week too. Went in for a couple items, came out with a cartload. Always great stuff.

First time there and was very impressed. As you walk through the door there is an assault on your visual senses. All different kinds of fruit that you may not expect to see at this time of year. Then the produce section all very nicely displayed. The store looked spotlessly clean and tidy and signage helped around the store. It's certainly worth a look.

Beautiful layout. Spacious and clean. Super friendly, every worker I came across. I asked a few how they enjoyed working at FB; they really liked it. One loved the work. Said they were still working out the start up challenges but it was still a fun place to work. One said she loves the compassion on the company when she lost a family memeber and then caught covid. She loves working there.It is really nice to shop in a place where people feel good about where they work.Prices were similar to Zehres. Going to try some of the FB brand products. I will definately shop here again.

Great location but smaller than others. I really enjoy their produce and cheese selection. King crab legs are the cheapest here than anywhere else I’ve found.
