Allossery Equine Veterinary Services

I have used Allossery Equine for a number of years and am very happy with the service. Matt does have a strong personality and is confident but these are traits I look for in the professional practitioners who I hire to look after the well being of my horses. I want someone to tell me the truth and offer the options in a practical and financially sensible manner. One of my horses is a large brute of a gelding and I am grateful that the team are willing to be strong and work through Tanners behaviour to get work done and keep him healthy.Matt is constantly attending seminars and upgrading equipment. They often have a co-op student tagging along and are interested in helping others learn and break into a difficult field. I have used Allossery Equine for routine vaccinations and teeth and recently had an emergency call - the phone rang to voicemail, he called back before my screen went dark, they text me when they were on the way and were at my farm within an hour. The next day Matt called and messaged to check on my horse and to see how we were making out. Matt genuinely cares about the horses and his clients.

Having been in the equestrian industry for 20+ years in BC, it's been a pleasure working with Matt and the Allossery Equine team here in Ontario. Their forward thinking, pro-active approach has been fantastic for my competition horses proving very successful in the show ring. I greatly appreciate Matt's communication style as well as his ability to develop a plan and strategy based on findings. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Matt came out to give me a second opinion on a lameness issue in my horse. Right from the get go I and my mare felt comfortable with him and his assistant Amy. Matt spent time assessing the issue. Never once did I feel rushed. I felt like he genuinely cares and wanted to get to the root of the issue. I highly recommend Matt and his team!!

By far the most thorough and detailed exams whether it be for lameness, dentals or anything in between. Always explains the process, the results and the options for treatment. I feel confident and reassured after every appointment. I would recommend Matt and the rest of his team to anyone.

I have been using Dr. Matt since he started his practice in my area. I have been extremely happy & satisfied with the care and attention he has given all of the horses in my care. I would also highly recommend him for any dental work you need done. He is extremely meticulous and detailed and takes his time to do a thorough job on the horses mouth. Dr Anna has also been wonderful when she has been called in to see some of the horses in my care.I would highly recommend both of them.

Dr. Matt Allossery did a very thorough job working up lameness on my horse. He looks at the whole horse to get a complete picture of what is happening. He offers more advanced diagnostics and treatment options (ultrasound, thermography, prostride injections, etc). I loved the lameness locator" which was helpful in confirming more subtle gait changes. Very pleased with his communication

I don't think I could say enough good things about Dr. Matt and Dr. Anna, when you are a client of theirs, you and your horses/pets are not just clients you are treated like family. I have been using Allossery for over six years now and encountered many vets. I can say without hesitation that if you choose to use them your horses will have the best care. They have helped me with yearly check ups, teeth floating (I had a VERY difficult horse and Dr. Matt stayed calm and cool under pressure and did an outstanding job), They have also helped with emergencies and have showed up immediately and solved the issue at hand. They are extremely busy yet somehow manage to make you feel like the only client. Thank you for all of your hard work Dr. Matt and Dr. Anna!

Had a great experience using Allossery Equine for a pre-purchase exam - the entire team was fantastic. The office was very quick to respond and lovely to talk to, and the exam done by Dr. Rebecca was very thorough. She gave me a very clear picture of current and potential future health and soundness outcomes for this horse that allowed me to make an well-informed decision.I would use Allossery Equine again with no hesitation and would recommend them to anyone looking for a pre-purchase exam in their service area.

The team at Allossery are by far the best! I’ve worked at several stables and I’ve never gained a better experience than what I have with these guys. Always prompt and responsive, caring and efficient. I can’t thank the team, especially Rebecca, enough for the care, help and advice they’ve given me since rescuing 2 horses recently.
