My bike fit with Alex was detailed, informative and effective! Going into the fit, I knew I needed a new saddle, but came out of the fit with a more comfortable and efficient position on the bike that's resulted in a record high FTP!Alex was patient and detailed, putting up with my 'princess and the pea' tendencies, and explained why each of the adjustments were being made. There was no pressure to purchase any new parts, a refreshing change from past fits with others.I would recommend Toronto Bike Fits to any of my cycling friends, and look forward to taking my second bike in to having a fit on it!

Alex talked me through every step of the bike fit. He made sure that upon leaving the studio that I was satisfied with the new position by making all the adjustments he could right then and there. He also made sure that I keep him updated on the new position, and if any issues arise to let him know so we could fix them together. The fitting process was very enjoyable and informative. Alex took the time to explain how the process would go about. He tailored the fit to my specific diagnoses. He went above and beyond in accommodating my needs.Alex is extraordinarily passionate in doing all that he can to help is patients and clients.

I had an excellent experience getting fitted for a new road bike purchase with Dr. Alex. I'd already ordered the bike, but I wanted to ensure optimal riding position, particularly for racing (i.e. being able to ride comfortably in the drops and maximizing sustained and maximal power output). The assessment actually started with a virtual meeting where I was able to elaborate on some previous injuries that needed attention during the neurostructural exam and for the actual bike fit and to specify my goals and so the style/type of riding I'd be doing. The virtual meeting was helpful in communicating logistics, what to expect from the exam and fit, and in moving us quickly and efficiently through through both. The neurostructural exam occurred before the fit. This was exceptionally beneficial not just to the fit, but also to identifying previously unknown physical restrictions for which I'd been compensating, reducing power and speed on the bike, and creating soreness on and off the bike. Alex provided exercises to help address this particular issue and suggested a strategy for treatment that turned out to be quite effective. I found the foot measurement, particularly arch height/collapse really helpful. I was unaware of how much power I was losing through my pedal stroke (as well as having to compensate) for one arch collapsing slightly). This was addressed by using inserts (which I happened to have already but had not been using). The bike fit itself was thorough and efficient. We were able to make extremely minor adjustments that I could not have identified on my own (particularly with seat height and forward/backward adjustment) and that increased my power output with less effort/more efficiency and no pain/strain.Over the course of the last month riding outside, I've noticed a huge difference in my ability to ride in a more aerodynamic position comfortably. This has resulted in more power and speed over time (my goals) and the ability and desire to ride for longer periods of time.In general, the whole experience was incredibly professional. There is a substantial amount to cover in both the neurostructural exam, and then in the fit itself, and Dr. Alex moved through the whole process efficiently, but thoroughly. I didn't feel rushed into making a decision about any aspect of the exam or of the fit and was able to ask all the questions I had. I felt a great sense of relief in his understanding and assessment of my previous injuries that were inhibiting full training and in the exercises and treatment suggestions for addressing these. The fit studio itself is exceptional. Top of the line equipment, clean, uncluttered, bright, and minimalist in design: very professional. Finally, Dr. Alex sent all of the fit measurements to my shop for building my bike to those specs when it arrived. This was brilliant as it meant that I didn't have to try things out and spent time, energy or money swapping out parts that weren't quite right. I highly recommend working with Alex both for addressing issues with your muscular-skeletal systems and for getting a bike fit, whether you're racing, or commuting, or both. Getting a comfortable fit, customized to your particular body, is essential for longevity in riding given potential breakdown points with a poor fit like knees, hands/wrists and backs. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Alex to accomplish these things.

I’m relatively new to road cycling, and wanted to address some issues I was having with wrist, elbow, and seat pain, as well as some bad headaches I was getting after long sessions on my trainer. Not only was Alex incredibly thorough and knowledgeable; he also made the whole process so accessible and comfortable for someone who is still learning the basics of cycling - I ended up learning a lot from the process! I also appreciated that he made as many adjustments as possible without me having to purchase anything. In the end the only thing I ended up buying was a new saddle that I tried out and loved during my fit, and that was really affordable. Going into the process, I wouldn’t say I was skeptical about seeing results from my bike fit, yet my expectations really didn’t prepare me for how much better I feel on my bike now. From my first ride post-fit, I’ve had absolutely zero pain, all the issues I was having have completely resolved, and riding is just pure joy! If you’re on the fence about whether to do a fit with Alex, I highly recommend that you go for it. PS - he’s also a great chiropractor!

I had an exceptional experience with my bike fit. The studio is very clean and spacious, and Alex is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and super patient. After my fit, Alex asked me to do a couple of rides and let him know how it feels. He really cares about you being happy with the results.Alex did a thorough examination to understand my body, and based on that he did key adjustments to my bike and cleats. My position on the bike improved drastically, resulting in having more enjoyable longer rides without the pains I used to have during and after the rides! My new position feels natural, is comfortable, and I feel that I have more power while cycling. Alex also gave me a report with the pre-fit and post-fit measures, as well as some recommendations for a new saddle, which was a life-changing discovery! I can’t thank Alex enough for all the magic that he does as a Chiropractor and now with my bike fit!
