Participated as a volunteer in clipping adipose fins from coho smolts. Plenty more to be done before 100% of those coho are marked.

Beautiful experience at Goldstream Estuary. Had a brilliant tour and gained in-depth knowledge on salmon and their life cycle, the need for a hatchery at the domestic and global level. A tour through Goldstream Estuary also gave insight to the mechanisms required for the ecosystem.
