I dropped in to see these people about treatment for my senior cat. I explained he was extremely nervous in the car, and even moreso if he was out of sight of me. They sold me a medication to placate him, and an appointment for 8:30 AM. I arrived at my appointment time, they took him inside and told me it would be approximately two hours, which seem to me to be a long time to get hairballs shaved, and a few other things checked. However, I left him there and went and ran a few errands, and when I had not heard from them two hours later, I went back. They told me they were “just going to go get him then… They had had a very busy morning full of emergencies!!” .As I entered the clinic there was a lady leaving with a small puppy that she had just taken in for his needles, so explain to me how that is an emergency!! You don’t have to be a genius to realize they were selling me a a crock. Two hours after appointment time, they were just going to go get him!! I got my poor old fella out of there after he had spent two hours out of sight of me with absolutely zero attention, and I took him to a different clinic where at least he was serviced. My feeling is… Shame on them for being so unprofessional, and I hope you will reconsider taking your pets there.

We had to make the hard decision to put our 12 year old fur baby to sleep recently and Darcie (the vet) just made everything go as smoothly as it possibly could have. Great service and friendly faces. Highly recommended.

A1 vet service for our sickly feline. Kitty was fit in on short notice and evaluated quickly.Dr. Sharp was great and above all the visit was reasonable on the wallet.

Sunshine valley has got to be the best place around to take your pets. They really care. They've always gotten my animals in when needed and are very honest about what needs done to keep your animals in good health. Darcy is so kind and good with my animals I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My dog just needed pretty extensive dental work. Dr Sharpe was so lovely when we met her and explained everything in a concise, non judgmental manner. All the staff there were so warm to us, and we made a plan to move forward with the surgery. I felt completely comfortable leaving her in their very capable hands. Upon picking her up they explained to me in detail what was done and any aftercare I needed to provide. My dog is usually just a me" type of dog and she was so comfortable in their arms. I appreciated that so much

Took our cat in to get mats removed (adopted him from a previous owner), he is a Persian, an indoor car, but previous ow ner was throwing him outside at night, so he got matted up bad. They gave him a lion cut, but in the process, the cut a large gouge on his front leg and cut him along his chest between his front legs. We were in the waiting room and could hear him meowing in an upset manner. Then he began screeching like he was being hurt bad. The receptionist just said 'oh, they all do that..' never going back again. Found the gouges when we got home.

Paid for a full checkup for my sick cat and received a quick look at his back and stomach and a quick check with a stethoscope, no ears, eyes, mouth, paws etc checked.. was told it’s allergies and given steroids that only help when he’s on them. And then all his symptoms come back as soon as he’s done them. Concerns were ignored, and we were rushed out. When I sent an email with my concerns, the fact that I didn’t receive the full checkup I paid for was completely ignored and I was told I need to get my cats treated for ectoparasites which was never brought up in my 2 minute long appointment. The response felt very defensive and I was basically told to find a new vet if I didn’t like the service I received. Would not recommend for people wanting thorough treatment or communication. Very disappointed with the appointment and also customer service. And my cats still sick.
