Went in looking for a specific knife. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. They had trouble finding the box, which I told them I really did not need. I was offered a discount for the missing box.

I've never really liked this place compared with others of the same name. And they're becoming exceedingly expensive. Service here has always been dismal and they're online ordering system absolutely fails. But, they're the only game in town and they know it. If you're after marine or fishing equipment, definitely go to Harbour Chandler downtown. Far better expert service.

Great store. Love the atmosphere and the clearance racks always have great deals. Love that we can bring our dog in, and they always make such a fuss over him and over him healthy treats.

This is always my favourite and most exciting stop I have to make anytime I go to, or pass through nanaimo! If you or your kids are fascinated by some animals common and not common to Vancouver, there is an animal section of I believe all taxidermy animals. There's grills to look at, clothing, food items like dried for camping, recipie books, seasonings of many kinds, and even popcorn seasoning! Stuffed animals, home decor, guns, knives, compound and crossbows, as well as recurve which I personally am saving up for! Anyway the staff are always awesome and I go here all the time and wish I had all the money to spend here! For those of you familiar with Bass Pro, they own Cabellas if I'm correct so essentially it's a small Bass Pro shop! Thanks for reading about my favourite store!

I stopped in for a few items and ending buying way more than I needed. I think that is a problem many people have. Great outdoors and camping gear and a fantastic section for outdoor cooking.

Great camping and outdoor gear. Quality items and fun stuff for the whole family.We like the colorful fire thing. The roasted sunflower seeds. And we bought the coziest and warmest king size blanket ever! Easy to wash in the washer too.This place is also nice to visit and look around even if you don’t want to buy anything.Staff are always helpful and go above and beyond.
