Ren's Pets Kingston

I've been shopping at Ren's for a couple years now with no complaints. Great customer service and quality products. Quite recently, I was met with compassion over the passing of my dog. I had a full bag of dog food recently purchased from Ren's and when I had posted the food for sale, the head office of Ren's contacted me personally to bring in the food for a full refund. When I arrived, I was given not only a refund but also a signed card of their condolences. I was overwhelmed by this gesture and want to thank Ren's for this thoughtfulness. I'm very grateful.

I’m not a regular shopper at Ren’s Pets, but every experience I’ve had here has not been very pleasant… The staff seem very cold towards my partner and I each and every time we shop here when I am nothing but kind to them. Customer service could be better. I will definitely try to go to Pet Smart when I can.

I have been going to Ren's for all my pet supplies for about a year. I like to buy my items in bulk format and they usually have the brands I like (Science Diet, Nutrience) and their rewards program is pretty good. I usually get a couple free cans of cat because I buy it by the pallet which is really. Generally a good experience.

I can’t thank Emma and Olivia enough for all of their knowledge, patience and support they have given me and my dogs!I have 3 dogs and one of them is a Shar Pei who is allergic to ALOT! I couldn’t watch him suffer anymore and decided to make a big change with his food. But I had no idea where to start. My dog is very picky and picking the right food for him seemed near to impossible. These two girls asked all the right questions and looked at every single dog food to find the best one. I felt so defeated thinking I would never be able to help him. They came together and educated me very nicely about the benefits of raw especially in my dogs case. I decided to try it. They picked out the best one that they thought could help him. We are now 3 days into the raw feeding and I can’t believe the difference already! Today he is eating his full portions and loving it. His paws used to be scabby and chewed so bad. They are cleared up and the chewing has stopped! Physically and mentally I see such a positive difference! These two ladies have no idea how much they have helped me! I will continue to goto Ren’s Pets because the staff there are so knowledgeable, patient, understanding and really want the best for your pet!

Just called with a few questions and I can say that I am quite happy with the customer service. I was met with thorough explanation, information and friendliness, will definitely be returning due to the care for customer service and care as our little four legged ones deserve best those looking out for them.

My angel mini poodle Frankie loves Rens! We both are always welcome and frankie trots along as she picks out her favourite treats and toys! We love coming here because of the kind and helpful staff

Staff are very helpful and the store has a wide selection of food treats and everything else you might need for your furry friend.

Avoid this place at all costs! My girlfriend and I bought bully pizzles here on the weekend. This was not their first time having pizzles. Within a few days, both of our French Bulldogs had severe bacterial infections requiring a series of medications which has ended up in about $1,700 worth of veterinarian bills. If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. The manager, Holly, offered me a refund on the pizzles, which will be $13.75 after taxes... What a generous sentiment that is! Theo is pictured below, completely lethargic and barely able to keep his eyes open. If you love your pet, you won't bring them here.

Love the look and selections at Ren's and I'm not sure if this was a one time thing or if it's changed permanently this way but the customer service was terrible when we visited this past Sunday. The staff were not welcoming at all, I was looking for a product for at least 5-10 minutes and no one came to ask if I needed help. In fact, one of the staff was just staring at a screen the entire time I was searching for a product. The cashier seemed so cold as well, didn't ask how we're doing, if we found everything okay etc. Just basic good customer service is all anyone asks for from staff and they failed to do that. Not sure if we'll be back.
