Seaside Suites Gros Morne Newfoundland 4 1/2 Star

The Lighthouse Suite was really lovely. The accommodation is large with all amenities. The host is really helpful and a very nice lady. We had breakfast included and had to go 1.4km to the sister hotel - Bonne Bay Inn for this. The Lighthouse Suite is not over the water and the views over the bay are not great, but if you have any accessibility issues it is extremely accommodating.

Perfect. Great room and bathroom lovely views. Aircon worked really well with recent heat surge. Staff fantastic. Owner Darleen a star, sorting an external problem (not one with the Suites) promptly. Cannot recommend enough. We will be back, but for longer!

The staff, and most of all Rachel were very friendly and spent time showing us the room and all included both in the room and our surroundings. The suites have been totally renovated and ours was so good I would live in it! We were in walking distance to a restaurant with local music plus The Loft with great home cooked meals at reasonable prices. We walked three trails , Tablelands, Lookout and Green Gardens all in one day and were so happy to come back to our room grab a few ciders and sit on the front porch and people watch as they came by for ice cream and locals fished the pier. Rachel made us gluten free sandwiches for our hikes. Definitely coming back!

Excellent location and wonderful room with everything we needed. Sheila and Rachel take a lot of pride in making sure every one of your needs is a met. Super friendly and helpful. Oh ya, Sheila spotted a whale for us in front of the wharf while we were saying goodbye. Perfect ending to a fantastic stay.

This has to be one of the nicest and most well thought out place I have stayed in. The room itself has that cottage feel, and all the amenities. We only stayed 1 night as a kind of stopover on a road trip, but wished we had stayed longer (they typically require 2 nights but we were in luck for our situation). We stayed in the Tablelands suite, it had great views, you're on the water, you can sit outside have your morning coffee, or you can sit inside and cozy up with a book. The DVD rack is a really nice thought for guests among so many other things.It's a short walk to the stores and such, the closing times of things vary with the seasons.Sheila, I believe, is the person that took care of checking us in for our stay, we didn't realize the store where you check-in closed at 5 as we were getting there a little later, or I would've called in advance. Sheila was fantastic, very helpful and very nice. She got us settled and we really appreciate everything she did.If you're in Bonne Bay I would really recommend Seaside Suites, for at least a couple nights.

We atayed here for 2 nights. Rooms were nice and we had an ocean view. Restaurant was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the lounge. Nice deck to sit out on to enjoy the view. Staff was friendly.

Amazing spot. The 2 cottages right on the warf out over the water are great. Nice sheltered harbour. Rooms were great. However, I spent most of my time out on the deck/ warf right on the water. Just a few steps and you are in the touristy stretch of bars and restaurants in Woody Point. This place ticks all the boxes.

Exceptional suites in Bonne Bay, included continental breakfasts delivered to your door. Charming village and friendly people. Rooms were large, comfortable and very well equipped (e.g. they included binoculars and fishing rods!). Fantastic place to stay and seemingly very popular, plan to book in advance.

Thanks so much to Darlene and her team for a wonderful visit to Gros Morne. We stayed in one of the over-the-water suites, and it was lovely. Clearly someone has put lots of thought into what visitors need most - the bed was excellent, the shower was great, having the kitchen facilities made life easy, and the views were amazing! We ate our breakfasts and dinners at the Bonne Bya Inn, up the road - once in the formal dining room and once with bar snacks in the lounge (again with amazing views). The food was top nothc and wait staff were helpful and accommodating.Woody Point is the perfect location for exploring south Gros Morne Park, and the Seaside Suites and Bonne Bay Inn are a lovely base.

Outstanding view. Suite was right on the water. Suite has a comfy at home feel. Very well maintained. We felt like we were at home. Suite had all the amenities- bar fridge and freezer (was able to make my own ice), water was good - cant say that about every place you stay in the Rock, microwave, cable tv, lots of dishes and cutlery, coffee maker, etc. Even had a telescope set up for viewing distant shore. This was the one of the top rooms of our stay.
