Backcountry K9 Kennel
We’ve been taking our German Shepard, Rick, to Backcounty K9 Kennel for a few years now! He does daycare once a week and if ever needed, we’ve had him stay over night. We could not recommend this kennel more, and absolutely love taking Rick to see his friends! He loves it so much himself and always has fun. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Such a trustworthy and incredible place to take your baby. (Here’s a pic of him at daycare!)

Family run business. Great outdoor play area and they screen the dogs that go there to make sure there are no conflicts. Have been going there for over a year and my Labradoodle loves it. Friendly staff, private rooms for boarding, large indoor play area in case of bad weather. They also have an excellent groomer (Adriana) who works on site.

My parents took our dog Austin here and he had an amazing time! Aussie is a rescue and can be really anxious, but Becca and Gary were so great in helping him relax and make sure he was comfortable. They also sent us updates and were available to chat if we had any questions. The staff is very hands on and work hard to ensure that every dog has a wonderful and safe, vacation. They really go above and beyond and we are so happy we found this amazing facility!

We’ve been sending our pup to Backcountry K9 Kennel for almost two years. Becca and Gary are wonderful people who treat the dogs in their care as if they were their own. I never have any hesitations when leaving our dog with them.He loves spending time at Backcountry, which is evident from how he greets all the members of staff.Pricing is fair and reasonable for both doggie daycare and for overnight boarding.We will continue to be loyal customers to Backcountry! Amazing kennel. Becca was quick to respond to any questions, very kind and professional. Beautiful facility that is well maintained, clean and the perfect size for the dogs to run around and play. Many different services, as well as updates on how our puppy was doing. Will be using the services again. Thank you for taking such great care of our Milly. ❤️

I bring my dog Enzo to Backcountry 4-5 times a week. I am very picky in who I allow to take care of my dog, and the staff here has made everything a breeze for me! They take care of all the dogs at their facility like they are their own. My dog absolutely loves the entire family which makes it sooo much easier for me! The place is very clean, has lots of room for the dogs to play, and the staff cares very deeply about the dogs. Additionally, staff is very friendly and professional. What stands out the most is, the staff really takes the time to get to know you and your dog, so they can provide the best experience for you and your pup!

Such amazing service, place and people. We went away on longer vacation and this was our dog’s first time away from us. Our kids missed him so much and Becca updated us with photos and videos of our puppy having fun. He had so much fun he was pooped for about a week after pickup.

The only way to book a boarding in this kennel was through an email according to their website. It's been 4 days and no response at all. If they are fully booked or not accepting new clients, at least a response should suffice. Can't leave clients hanging!
