If you’re reading this because you’re thinking about attending your first track day, then this is the best place to be. I have been riding for a few years and often dreamed about going to a track to let out my inner Valentino Rossi but was always a bit intimidated by the commitment this would require. I thought I needed a dedicated track bike, a trailer to haul it, new leathers, etc. But the crew at Higgy’s assured me that many first-timers just ride whatever they have up to the track and either borrow leathers or get a used set which is exactly what I did.I rode my bike out from Victoria to the track near Duncan in the morning and then the fun began. First you have to get your bike ready which really just means taping of the lights, removing the license plate and waiting for tech inspection. There were all sorts of bikes getting ready from sport bikes to classic bikes, super moto’s, adventure bikes and lots of Street Triples. There was also a surprising amount of small displacement bikes like 250s and 300s and 400s because the track is quite small and very twisty which means maneuverability is key.The first session was a little nerve-wracking and quite humbling because there is a lot to learn about track riding that I was not aware of. I was riding more or less like I would on the street and stayed to the right side through most the corners out of habit. I certainly felt fast because I was going full throttle on the straights and then braking hard into corners but easily got passed by many bikes with less than half the power of my Street Triple. Definitely not like Rossi. I may have been the only true newbie in the relaxed group that day because a few other riders offered to give me pointers after the session and one of them, Rebecca, even offered to lead me around the track and show me the proper lines to start the second session. This helped tremendously and made going around the track much smoother and a lot faster.The progress I made from session to session with the help of the control riders like Jamie was amazing. I think I learned more about riding between 9am and 4pm that day than I have in the past few years. By the afternoon I had the most fun I’ve ever had on a motorcycle and was eager to be first in line to start each session and even passed a few people. Needless to say I went back for more two weeks later.

Most fun you can have on 2 wheels. Higgys track days are a fun safe environment. I warn you it is highly addictive. Next thing you will be looking for a a dedicated track bike trailer stands pop up canopies... ask me how I know.

I've done a bunch of track days at VIMC, but Higgy's tops them all! The facility is amazing, but it only works if the track day hosts have it all together. Great on track control riders to keep the proceedings flowing and a positive, supportive, atmosphere in the pits! Higgy's is exactly what a top flight track day should be!

Just attended a 3-day Higgy's On The Track event at VIMC and can't say enough about the organization. Coaching (& equipment) tips were available from any of the staff before sessions and throughout the day. Control riders/coaches would follow, lead and provide valuable feedback and tips on how to improve. The atmosphere was supportive and fun. I will book as many track days with Higgy's as I can.

Everyone was dedicated to the safety and happiness of the clients.I’ve done track days with a few different companies through the years and higgys has definitely got the special sauce.I’ll be frequenting higgys track days as often as possible, always certain I will have an exhilarating, safe and transformative day.

WelcomeIf I had to use just one word to describe the experience at a Higgy's track day it would be welcome. Everyone is happy to meet you and happy to help. Going to your first event with a new provider can be a bit nerve racking, but that wasn't the case here. Just happy, friendly people. The support staff are happy to chat and answer questions, and the control riders are well qualified and willing to lead you around and show you some new tricks.Safe, timely, and fun! You can't go wrong with these guys and gals. Looking forward to seeing them again this season.

I am so happy I can spend the first Track Day in my life with Higgy's. Of course, so much fun!Like a small and lovely community, Higgy's set up a welcoming and supportive group in VIMC. Everyone is friendly, focusing, and willing to ask and suggest. Even a first-time player like me will be comfortable with this community.The technical support is very impressive. Whether the control rider or the suspension-adjustment people always stand ready to give you a hand.Special thanks to Oliver, who lead me several rounds in the afternoon as a coach. It is definitely helpful, and for free.I am considering the season pass in Higgy's next year.

I've done several track days with 5 different companies over the years and I have to say Higgy's is the best of the bunch! Such a relaxed, welcoming and supportive group! As a ride-in I didn't have much gear with me, so they adopted me into their comfortable tent and made sure I survived in 29C heat. On track their control riders were very helpful showing me around the track with a lead-follow and a detailed discussion of proper lines and things to watch out for. Highly recommended for any skill level (watching advanced group flying was awe-inspiring)
