We had an unsightly wall breaking up our living room space and wanted to remove it, but realized it was load bearing and wanted an expert to take care of the job. We could not be happier with the results and process of our structural renovation! Dynamic opened up 3 rooms + a hallway into one large open-concept living area. Raouf was extremely professional, prompt and flexible. He is clearly very knowledgable about the structural field, and was able to explain everything to us in terms we could understand and feel comfortable with. When my husband and I discovered our home renovation would require structural work, we knew that hiring the right company would be extremely important. From the first point of contact Raouf impressed me with an immediate call back and requesting a site visit. He came to look at the potential project in person, which was a noticeable difference from other companies we have contacted right off the hop.  He then provided us with a complete itemized quote and once hired continued to go back and forth with us with updates as far as timing and preparation. He also communicated directly with our engineer whenever necessary to discuss several changes that came once the work began. We wanted to create an open concept in our house, and we wanted it to be done RIGHT. We spoke to many General contractors and realized this is a job for a Structural specialist. We then refined our search and connected with a few structural experts. We got the reference of Raouf (Dynamic Wall removal) from Homestars and once we spoke to him we realized he has the knowledge and can handle our project. We did also visit his site where he was doing a major structural renovation of a 100+ yrs heritage home, this gave us additional confidence as the job site we visited was on a much larger scale. We signed up with Raouf and once we were ready all of it was smooth sailing. He and his team are very professional, came on time and kept the place very neat and clean. We had the first inspection for the footing and it passed without any problems. The second inspection was also good. As a Structural Engineer / specialist the work Raouf and his team do is not visible but is very very important as the whole house rests on this structure. So they deserve equal if not more credit than the general contractors who do cosmetic work.Our main floor now looks huge, it was very choppy earlier. We recently had 3 load barring walls removed at our house and replaced with one new LVL and two new steel beams. Raouf and his crew were amazing! They completed the entire project one day earlier than expected and did not leave behind a single spot of debris or dust. I had a load bearing wall removed from the main floor of my home, which made it totally open concept. This was a complex project as the upper floor is smaller than my main floor and the existing load bearing needed to be removed and replaced with a much larger beam. The contractor was professional and kept me informed of every step through the process. The cost of the project ended up being higher than originally anticipated and the timing of the project was extended but given the complexity of the project, it was fairly reasonable. The contractor communicated with the engineer and the City to arrange for inspection and remained on site throughput most the process. They kept the job site clear of debris on a daily basis. They also recommended other contractors for the remainder of the project (kitchen and general contractor), whose prices were quite reasonable as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this contractor.

Raouf and his team are top notch. He was always responsive, professional and was able to complete the job in a timely manner while doing top quality work. They maintained/cleaned the job site and even went beyond their scope of work to help clean up some additional areas of a different wall. Can’t recommend them enough!
