If I could give Warren and City Move 10 stars, I would. Warren and his team at City Move are amazing!! I’ve moved all over the world and worked with dozens of movers. This was honestly the best move experience I’ve ever had. I told Warren, “Everything about this move was difficult – except working with you.” I had a “Murphy’s law” move where pretty much every roadblock that could have surfaced appeared. And every time one did, Warren worked with me to problem solve and figure out how to make it work. Warren was professional and patient. He took numerous phone calls from me while he was on vacation in Mexico to help finagle some creative solutions when some last-minute problems arose. He even took my calls on Christmas Eve. I think most movers would have given up, but he didn’t. His problem solving saved the day. In addition, he was super careful with my things, as well as with the walls/floors of the apartment. He and his team were polite and considerate. I know how worrisome it can be to choose movers – wondering if they will be professional, trustworthy, careful, considerate, and punctual. If that’s what you are looking for, you’ve found your movers with City Move.

Excellent experience - who can say that about moving day? I have had Citymove take care of three moves so far. On time (early), careful, knowledgeable and familiar with the limitations of a difficult building that we moved from. Great rates, Stress free moves. I wouldn't use any other mover. If they had packed all of my stuff, it would have been a 5 star review.

Warren took ALL the stress out of our recent move. He was able to trouble-shoot early on and make adjustments to ensure that our many, many, many things would be moved carefully and most efficiently. I am especially grateful that he disassembled and reassembled my gigantic Ikea Kallax bookshelf for me without complaint (I know how much everyone, myself included, hates assembling/disassembling/moving that beast). All in all, exceptional service and experience. I highly recommend Citymove to anyone looking for responsive and professional movers!

So going into public storage on Terminal Ave one of these city move trucks was blocking the way for other moving trucks to get by to their units and this big blonde man bun turd couldn’t park to save his life! He had to take up two parking spaces!!! And when I tried calling to complain no one was available to answer the phone and no one called back!! Don’t hire these guys find a reputable owner operator of moving company

Even though city movers were fully booked for my move, they were able to help me out with expectations for pricing and services with other movers. This was absolutely appreciated as they did not need to go above and beyond with their services. Thanks again and keep up the honest work!

This was our first time using movers and after shopping around we decided to go with CityMove. We found most other moving companies to be very aggressive, not forthcoming with their rates, and trying to pressure you into booking the move immediately after giving you the quote. Warren was the exact opposite. His rates are upfront on his website, he did not pressure us into making an appointment, and when I mentioned we were currently just shopping around, he said that was fine and proceeded to give us advice on our move despite us not being a customer yet.Regarding the move, they were early (which is great when having to deal with tight move in/out times in apartment buildings), they were very professional and treated all of our belongings with care. Warren and his team turned what would have otherwise been a very stressful ordeal into a much more manageable move. I would happily use CityMove in the future and won't hesitate to recommend them to others.

I first hired Citymove in 2011. I hired them again (twice) in 2013. And now they've just done another perfect job for us. We didn't check with any other company, we went directly to Citymove again, and that was on purpose. This was a logistically complex move, and there were all kinds of ways it could have gone wrong, but it all went right because Warren and his guys did the job professionally, carefully, efficiently, and promptly...just like in 2011 and 2013. They truly are craftsmen! Honest and timely communications, reasonable and transparent pricing, and not even the smallest damage to any of our stuff. I would give a more-than-five-stars review if it were possible.One thing: Take Warren's advice about the best kinds of boxes to use (and which ones *not* to use). Your move will go far better for you that way.
