Loves the pastries, they were the most delicious pastries in my Vancouver trip.

Unreal. Currently my favourite pastry shop on the north shore. The cheese croissant was better than expected. My wife said the cinnamon bun was incredible but would wouldn’t have complained if it had cream cheese. The graham in the tiger bar was so good. I’m glad I don’t live closer as I wouldn’t be able to run enough to burn off the calories.

I was so frustrated of yesterday experienceI mostly like to come this coffee shop because of fresh pastries . I ordered one of those jealousies and PB&JB to go.The paper back was wet even I mentioned they ignored and anyway the pastries was stuck to the bag and I put whole bag in garbage. Customer service in this kind of coffee shop’s very important which I really had a good experience always since yesterday but still I believe here is my place and as a one of edgemont residents I prefer to stop here to enjoy and spend a time in a such a cozy place.

A busy place to visit if you’re meeting a friend for coffee or having lunch with family. It was busy at lunch on a weekday. Our rating is below (5 is the highest)Service: 4 – if you’re dining in, you’ll get a number & they’ll bring your food to the table.Ambience – 4 – nice casual contemporary café – I loved the couch & 2 chairs beside the gas fireplace. Maybe a challenge if you have more than 4 people dining in. Ideal for 2 people. It was busy. If you intend on dining in, you’ll need to be here before the peak times.Food: 4 - If you love desserts & gooey cinnamon buns, go no further. There are lots of desserts (I counted over 36 kinds of dessert bars) & pastries. They have simple lunch items such as soup (only had one type of soup) & grilled sandwiches/paninis. If you like good quality coffee, they serve Illy. We had the tomato basil soup which I found a bit on the salty side. We shared the spicy chicken sandwich which wasn’t too spicy. There wasn’t much chicken inside and found it a bit dry. The sandwich was about $15.A nice local coffee place to visit whether you’re in the Edgemont neighbourhood or enroute to Grouse Mountain. It’s worth the detour. There’s free street parking around the area.

BjornBar Bakery has a large selection of baked goods, drinks, sandwiches, and more. Everything we tried was delicious!On top of all the baked goods they offer they also have a large selection of gourmet dessert bars which would be great for parties or gatherings.I highly recommend coming here. They also have a new location in Burquitlam.

Located in edgemont village, this cafe is so cozy and lotssssss of baked good and pastries. Tried their latte and mocha- just the way we like it. Definitely recommend checking this cafe, can’t wait to go back when in North Van.

The dessert bars and pastries are absolutely delicious. Coffees are good too and friendly staff! Can be quite crowded during the weekends but hey, it’s worth the wait.

Everything is 5* except the pastries. Overcooked, crisp and verging on burnt (like the ends of the croissants - my son wouldn’t eat it). I’ve complained twice in person but it’s the same every time I come. Taking your pastries out of the oven just a minute or two earlier would make such a difference!

I’ve been to many coffee shops and this one has the widest and best pastry selection. I’ll have to come back for the chocolate bombs. The croissant, quiche, and breakfast sandwiches were all yummy. I got an iced americano and it was really good! Loved that they offered plant-based milks. The matcha was just okay but better than starbucks. Nice bathrooms too and very accommodating and patient staff.

Such a gem. Love the decor as it feels more like a home than a coffee shop inside with the couches and decor. The coffee was excellent and strong. Pastries looked delicious but did not try any. Prices are slightly expensive and there is limited seating. Smaller than the Delanys or the Starbucks in the village.
