Clearwater Systems

*updated January 2022*(in response to the owners comment: my initial terrible review was posted prior to the flood you referenced and before the new owners came in)Now since the flood I have been forced to deal with the terrible customer service yet again. It baffles me a new large company comes into a small town and makes MAJOR PROFIT off the locals who are experiencing a historical natural disaster. Many local companies have waived some of their mark ups and retail prices were dropped down to near whole sale prices. I asked for some assistance from Clear Water. Ohio headquarters said nope.This company gives zero cares about anything besides their money!I will be telling everyone I know how terrible of an experience this has been.I will also be reporting directly to Kinetico my complaints as you are representing their company by retailing their machines.My original stance in NEVER working with Clear Water still stands. You had the opportunity in the midst of this disaster to make a local name for yourself and you missed that great opportunity.ORIGINAL POST:I wish I could give a 0 star review but in order to review I must give 1.We needed a water treatment system and decided to go with the Kinetico thru Clear Water.The system works great. But AFTER it was installed the price went up by almost $2000! When I called the salesperson I had worked with they informed me I had read the bid wrong. Ok.Yet the guy they sent to install my system didn't know what he was doing, didn't even have the correct parts with him. Had to leave and come back two hours later. He never showed me how to operate the system or refill the salt tank or replace the filters. So when it came time to add the salt and change filters I called Clear Water. They apologized and said I wouldn't be billed for the visit to my home to show me how to use this $8000 system. Then surprise! I got a bill for almost $300 for the technician to come out. I have called and left multiple messages trying to sort this out. Never get called back.I would absolutely NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I am very pleased with service they provided. I had their water test person to test my water. She did great job in explaining everything. ( we had water treatment with Northwest water treatment that was not doing its job) installation was smooth and well explained. They tried using what I all ready had. I never though that I would be so happy to se clean water in my toilets. That are awesome.

They'll install broken valves which will cause water damage then fix" their installation by overusing adhesive which won't leave your water for about a months time and in the process tighten down the filtration capsules so much they damage the o-rings which will require special tools an a pair of able bodied men to unscrew. After this inconvenient nightmare they will send you an invoice for charges thar were never mentioned about. In conclusion: They install faulty parts

It was a real pleasure working with Joel at Clean Water Services. He came to my home, discussed our needs and possible treatments for our hard water issue (we are on a private well), and took a water sample. A filter and softening system was designed and recommended, cost was very fair, and the techs were sent down to install. The technicians were absolutely professionals as well - a 10 on a scale of 1-10 - and I have had many pros coming in to do work over the last 7 years. Just can't say enough about the complete experience. Water feels wonderful, and previously crunchy clothes, especially jeans coming out of the dryer are now super soft!! Thank you so much for the amazing service! It is truly appreciated in this day and age!!

Picked up another 5 gallon bottle of water and a 20 filter for my Culligan system. They're always friendly and congenital."

From setting the appointment for the test and bid to the installation Clearwater has been very professional. They went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. And my water is clear, clean and tastes great!

Scott did a great job installing a replacement UV system in my pump house. He was friendly courteous and efficient. I would recommend Clearwater Systems to anyone who needs help with a water problem..

Scott was excellent in our initial consultation. Exceptionally knowledgeable, forthright and kind. He answered all of our questions in detail and walked us through the entire process. The installer, David, was also highly professional, courteous and receptive to any follow up questions we had. All in all, from start to finish the experience was great and we absolutely love our new water system! Can't refer this company enough!

Multiple issues with service in last few years , many broken pipes ,etc during maintenance calls. The last straw was their tech broke another pipe , used adhesive that didn't hold and left water dripping all over my garage . Then informed us we needed a new system even though we had paid a large sum less than a year before to have it rebedded.After having another company come out we found out that besides a ton of shoddy work when they had rebedded they forgot to put a part back in so the first time the system flushed all the bedding was flushed into my pipes clogging them and my drain field.Now they want $300 for the service call to break my pipe and leave my system not functioning.I had to have a whole new system and drains installed because of their negligence.Stay away !

Posting a review for a friend who is currently dealing with water damage due to services preformed by your company.Quoted that they have had tank issues previously and had your company service their tank only to need services again. This time they specifically requested not to have a particular technician come out and they sent that exact person out. Now this morning they woke up to water flooding in their garage." I highly advised them not to go with Clearwater Systems anymore."
