Took 2 weeks to get an appointment when I dropped my bike off at 9 am for the appointment didn't get my bike back till 6 pm for a simple tire change and got charged more then double of what I was told

One afternoon last year, I needed to get some needles for a snowmobile carb, so I walked into the Starting Line and stood near the counter. The counterperson noticed me but then decided to talk to a mechanic about some non-related business instead of waiting on me right away. (The mechanic came out of the back area just after I arrived.) I ended up leaving after being ignored for many minutes.A coworker recently told me to go to SL for some small engine work. Thinking that what happened at the previous visit was a fluke, I went to SL last week and talked to Randy, a knowledgeable and helpful guy, who said to drop off my engine whenever I had a chance.Today I went back with my engine and was treated to more than twenty minutes of waiting while the owner ordered a throttle cable for a customer, had a lengthy casual conversation on the phone with the throttle cable sales rep after ordering the cable and some other parts, and then proceeded to have a conversation with the throttle-cable customer about the Crypto market AFTER the final sale had been made. Having wasted lots of time listening to endless conversations, I decided to leave while the Crypto conversation was still going on. Based on two of my three experiences, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. It's worth noting that regulars, including my coworker, have had good experiences at Starting Line.

Great customer service and had what I wanted in stock

From day one the crew at the starting line treated me great,quick service on my bike and a set of forks i had repaired, when I picked my bike up I talked to the tech that had done the work nothing but polite and helpful with my questions.I was reading a review on this page how they are a month out,,if they could get you in there shop in a day I'd probably think about why they aren't busy,,the quality is worth the wait,,I'm a fussy person and they treated me and my bike with respect,,thank you
