My burger was not correct, and on top of that my poutine had ice cold gravy. Was king of upset, however, I went back for an exchange on the poutine and they were extremely helpful and kind. Sometimes things get busy which is understandable. The service overall was amazing and even tho the burger was not correct, it still tasted phenomenal.

Every time i order from this place.. the food is always sloppy made. They never use gloves touching this then that.. handles that have been touched a thousand times a day.. watching them now for 20 minutes. No one has washed their hands, no one is wearing a hair net. And they touching our food?? Nasty

I ordered hot cakes with sausage ,add bacon did not get either just hotcakes. The top of the container said what my order was supposed to be. This McDonald's is horrible always something wrong..

Visit another McDonalds in town. This McDonald’s is located in a bad part of town, always slow, and food quality is bad. I have found multiple hairs in my food and grounds in my coffee. Avoid this location*

Location is bad. Security is lazy and useless. Busy location commonly out of stock. Since they got a new franchise and operations manager things have gone extremely down hill. They only hire kids and indians. Their hiring is clearly biased and the management is rude and cannot resolve their continued issues of failure. This place plain sucks but the other ones in town are so much further away from the large south population.

Three stars because it was open at 1am after my night shift. Only three stars because of the very LARGE amount of homeless seeking shelter at night. Not the fault of McDonald's. Definitely the fault of the city of Nanaimo for not doing more to find ways in assisting our homless

read all the bad reviews. Honestly you have to give them a break for all the homeless peopele problem. I used to buy here everytime after get off ferry. No more.The homless people live in this parking lot make me feel not safe. They curse and yell at me when I get out of the car.Imagine you work here and have to deal with them everyday........

I went to the drive through to redeem a free cheeseburger and a pink sprinkled donut. The man that took the order was being a bit difficult and after u drove all the way to him. He said you have to purchase something to get the free items. I said ok I will have a medium coke. He said you will have to pay in cash I said I only have debt so I drove back to the other window to pay. I didn't check the order on the spot mod way as I was driving home I find that my coke tastes like water. It seemed like it was watered down or something and the donut I wanted to get for my daughter wasn't the one I asked for. That was a waste of money and gas for me personally. Never going to that store again.

I was towing a trailer so I had to walk in for breakfast. They literally made meStand there for 45 minutes for two breakfast sandwich combos with a juice.When I asked where my order was I literally was told drive through has priority and I should have gone through. I explained I’m towing. I maintained my cool but then the manager came out gave lip service and another 15 minutes went by.They literally treated me like I was a second class citizen because I walked in.Probably the final straw for me with McDonald’s. I shouldn’t be eating their garbage food anyways.I went to the rod and gun pub in parksville later on that day, they brought me a beef dip, soup and two beers In 20 minutes.I say boycott McDonald’s and go to your local pub, they’ll at least treat you like a person.
