Wapta Falls
First thing first - if the plan is to reach the falls, then this isn’t the one. Look for Wapta falls trail. This location leads to a viewpoint which is way too far away from the falls. Additionally it is a dirt road with lots of potholes. Don’t even attempt to take this if your destination is the Wapta falls base. A lot of people did follow maps and ended up here, which is why I had to write this review against this location.

Amazing falls just off the highway, if you have an hour to spare, the hike is totally worth it.

A very nice hike and waterfall. Keep walking all the way down to the bottom to view the waterfall from the front.

Nice 2.5km one way. Falls are beautiful. There are 2. Viewpoints. You can walk further down to the river's edge.

No doubt one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Canada! Powerfull! Expect 30mins walk from parking lot.

Really beautiful waterfall.The hike is easy, just the last meters are quite steep. Down at the waterfall the stones you walk on could be also wet. Mind your steps!In the summer/autumn saison there is the possibility to get to on of the islands in front to take amazing photos.

It’s a 2.4 km hike one way but very rewarding. Lots of mosquitoes so bring bug spray. You can actually go up to the island when there’s not much water on the falls. A must visit when going to Golden.
