What a treat having a home hardware close to our new home that is helpful. Reminds of how corporate store in St Jacob’s used to be before they built the new store Great staff one gentleman who has helped me now twice in the plumbing dept was fantastic they will continue to get our business for years to come. Bought an exterior door they told me was in stock. When I learned their delivery charge went up to $75 I thought to add a few pieces of siding to complete the job. Driver came the next day and dropped off the siding. Where is my door?" I asked. "They couldn't find it" he said. And left. No phone call

They are good if you want to buy stuff but as soon as you come in for a return they will give you a hard time and try to make you feel like a nutshell. NOT WORTH IT.

This store in Woodstock is a 5+, Nancy in paint was fabulous, knowledgeable and was all about the service and products, she put all my information in a binder with rooms, explained the paint stamp cards program and that the cards are my property, not the stores, gave me contact information for head office and St Jacobs. The store was bright, spacious, well stocked, you could easily turn your cart in the isle, I had several staff in various departments approach me and offer assistance, the cashier's were cheerful and sent me off on a very positive note, wish me a great day. Thanks to the owners, management and staff for such a positive customer service experience. I have my new hardware store.

I went there to buy leaf bags, 10 bundles of 5 per bundle. There were inside the front door near the cashier.As I loaded them in a cart the cashier asked the other cashier if there was a limit on how many a customer can buy.I told her that they aren't on sale. The second cashier was going to check with the manager, I told her politely not to.bother as I will get them at another hardware store. On the way out of the store I was told there was no limit and I could have them, I walk out and went to Peavy and bought them.
