I was sent here for a General Practitioner assessment by my car insurance company. In my case, due to a car accident, I’ve developed ptsd and have a few physical ailments. I can’t drive anymore, nor can I do the things I used to do before the accident. My life has turned completely upside down and one of my major physical limitations is that I can’t sit normally anymore. Even when I adjust my body to try and sit down, I’m in excruciating pain, sweating, and can’t hold the position longer than a couple of minutes. I was seen by Dr. Tu and she noted all this but she still went ahead and reported to the insurance company that there’s no reason not to return to my sedentary office job! How does that make any sense? What kind of a doctor purposely wants to harm people? I’m assuming she’s paid very well to provide reports that favour the insurance company and I was very naive to think that a doctor would be honest. As a result of her report, my car insurance stopped paying my benefits and I’m left wondering how to survive as a single parent in this condition. It’s absolutely horrific that the ‘health’ industry has corrupt doctors like her in their midst.

Attended Altum Health Mississauga with my Grandmother as part of her post-op rehabilitation for knee replacement. Came here for both knee replacements. Great clinic, staff and easily accessible. The staff is amazing, knowledgable, caring and work to make your time worth while. They provide you with steps to success and work hard as a team to make it happen. Every individual encountered at this clinic whether by phone or in person was pleasant and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I've been doing therapy at the Altum Mississauga site for the past few months and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I been doing a lot of therapy with Monica .H the Kinesiologist and I must say she is motivating , understanding and the most pleasant person I have worked with during my injury. I had a back Injury that prevented me for working for a whole year, at the beginning of my injury I thought my health was over, and my back injury is going to prevent me from doing the things I love, such as playing sports, or playing with my son.I want to give a special Thanks to Christina Tyrcz, & Isabel lam. These two professionals helped me to not only make a full recovery, but correct bad habits in my poster and walking, and helped improve my flexibility by 70%.Christina Tyrcz is an amazing Kinesiologist and I recommend her to anyone who is suffering a server critical injury; she is awesome and her knowledge will definitely help you improve.Isabel Lam is a terrific Physiotherapist and I highly recommend her if you are suffering from a back injury. Great place and very helpful staff. I had gotten a low right back injury at work last year and was referred to a few places before coming to Altum. But non of the places before, had put in the amount of care and time that Altum gave to help me recover. The staff there are very friendly and listen to your concerns. They also helped me learn stretches to help me manage my pain. Overall great place to go to and highly recommend to go to recover from an injury.

Prior to coming to Altum Health Mississauga, I had limited functioning and strength in my hand following a injury, having plateaued in my prior therapy location. The staff were all pleasant, engaging and encouraging. Special thanks to Betty and Monica for their exceptional care. They were fully committed to encouraging and challenging me to excel. I had tears of joy several times with excitement over my rapid recovery in this setting. Thank you Olivia for your exceptional customer care! My functionality and strength is almost back to normal. I was recommended this program for my ongoing concussion symptoms. From my first appointment to now my last, I had such an amazing experience. Everyone is friendly and helpful, they really listen and care. I had not experience this in the last clinic I was in. Altum Health has changed my life and gave me a more positive outlook for my concussion syptoms and how to manage and cope. I highly recommend this place.
