The Tattoo Machine

I went here on my eighteenth birthday for my first tattoo and they really made it a memorable experience. I was given as many breaks as I needed with no judgement and my artist (Falken) was clear and communicative with every step of the process. When the tattoo was done, I was provided with very clear instructions for aftercare and it looked amazing! It's been around two months now and the tattoo has fully healed with no issues whatsoever. It looks great!The shop itself is clean and full of interesting statues, posters, and books. There were some scheduling issues on their end but with everything to look at, the waiting was barely an issue and they more than made up for it. The staff there are super friendly and they went above and beyond to make my first experience a great one. I look forward to going there for my next tattoo and highly recommend them!

My partner and I waited in line for hours in March 2020 to get a voucher for a $13 flash tattoo. Then COVID happened, so come March 2021 we realized our vouchers were expiring. We called Tattoo Machine and they were more than happy to honour our vouchers even though they were technically expired. Their shop was clean, bright, and eclectic. All of the staff were incredibly kind and we were both thrilled with our results. Actually, I ended up here because we are planning on going to Tattoo Machine for our next pieces, and I saw that there is only one review here. I figured that was a shame since they were wonderful to us, so here we are. Definitely recommend!

I just had a Tattoo done yesterday from Falken and I'm so happy with the result of it. He's an amazing artist and really worked hard on making my tattoo look amazing. He takes pride in his work and is very good at working with you to make your tattoo look the way you want it. Will be going back to see him again for more. After meeting the owner in another setting, I was impressed with his amicable personality. My son visited his shop once as he was curious and couldn't stop talking about it. As my son wanted a tattoo for his 18th birthday, we contacted the owner a d he was more than happy to help. We worked with the owner and with his guidance, suggestions and funny stories, he made my son's first tattoo an amazing and memorable experience. Will certainly be going back!

Spur of the moment tattoo, and the best service. 5 non local girls walked in and got 5 different tattoos and the service was impeccable. We tried 2 other tattoo places and were turned off by the customer service but this place was awesome. Would recommend, and would go back!

This shop is one of the best in Ottawa, not only for the great quality of art you receive, but also because of how welcoming and atmospheric the studio is itself. The artists are all very talented and friendly, and I recommend this place to all my friends!10/10seriously, if you're going to get a tattoo go here

I had a 40 year old tattoo covered over by an absolutely beautiful piece of artwork, created by the artists at The Tattoo Machine. The service I received was top shelf and very professional. My experience was perfect from the moment I arrived until the artwork was completed. The artist really knew what he was doing, and was fast, gentle, and incredibly talented. I was able to set up an appointment online within an hour of contacting them, and the design they made for me was even better than I expected. 5/5, 10/10 place, I have recommended this place to my friends and I'll definitely be coming back.

The Tattoo Machine will always be my go to and biggest recommendation for anyone looking for tattoos in the Ottawa area. The owner Falken is welcoming, kind and responsive. I have gone to Morin for 9/12 tattoos and he truly creates a positive experience at the shop. I have referred many friends who also enjoyed their experience and were very happy with their pieces.
