The Bee's Knees
I’ve been shopping at The Bee’s Knees since day one. Even now that I do not live in St. John’s anymore it’s my go-to solution for remotely delivered gifts. I love their great selection of local and sustainable items. The welcoming and helpful staff makes in-person and remote shopping a wonderful experience. An all-around great shop!

Beautiful little shop downtown, carries a very wide range of earth friendly products - great for gifts or for yourself! Reasonably priced and has new products added all the time. Very friendly staff and clean interior!

The Bee's Knees
Absolutely lovely little shop full of goodies! Giftware, home decor, accessories and eco friendly items. Fantastic selection, clean and delightful staff! Though small, it doesn't feel cluttered or crowded; also accessible for mobility aid users!

This is a must-visit store if you're looking for gifts in downtown St. John's. All of the items are environmentally friendly, unique, and well-made. Local specialty craft/food goods are also available. My favourite store in Newfoundland!

The Bee's Knees
The bamboo sunglasses that I bought broke in less than a month. The brand is Kuma Sunglasses and they were not cheap ~ $40. It's a nice shop to browse and my take is that the products made out of natural" or "recycled" materials might not last for a lifetime. In the end

I really like the products here(generally), they have some beautiful things. The staff have also been helpful when I went in. What I don't appreciate is their return policy, in some cases.I bought a bamboo comb there that doesn't even comb through my hair, it only pushed it around, so it doesn't actually work as a comb. I took it back the very next day, not even expecting a refund, but at least an exchange, as the store policy states only exchanges or store credit. So I was happy to get something else with this. But their store policy is to also not allow body products to be returned. I understand this as a principle as I have worked in retail many times and agree with it, but when a product doesn't do what it's meant to do, in this case function as a comb, then I don't agree with this. Especially when I brought it back the very next day and had also bought other items that I am happy with and keeping. Working in retail I have had the experience of sending back faulty items to distributors, as well as the business just taking losses when getting reasonable requests for returns from customers. It's a balance, and it's about maintaining a good relationship with customers. Well, I did not feel this business is doing this at all. I'm just told it's store policy repeatedly. I wasn't asking some ridiculous request like wanting to get a full refund for the comb after using it for 6 months. So this really ruined my experience of this lovely little store.

The Bee's Knees
This is a great little local shop downtown that’s home to various local products and many products focused on living sustainably! I’m really happy we have a local store focusing on this premise and I can’t wait to return when I start to make more changes to move towards producing less waste and issuing more environmentally friendly products.

I love this store. They have a great selection of a variety of eco friendly products. The staff are friendly and the store is organized and displayed nicely. You can purchase many different personal, kitchen, baby and household items to help the environment and go green." The products are very good quality. The prices are a bit high

Have always intended to go into this store, and finally made the plunge to phase out all non-environmentally friendly products. This will be a frequent stop and shop for me as I have nothing but good to say about the staff, the products, and the reason for their business!Awesome place to check out!
