What a delightful experience at La Mochi Donuts Scarborough Yelp Elite Event. I was so hungry and tired. The weather was the worse. The soft mochi enlightened my day. So soft chewy warm and fresh. The desserts can be enjoyed anytime. I asked the restaurant workers to surprise me with the flavors, they didn't disappoint. Thanks Yelp organizers and La Mochi sweets. Lovely chewy mochi donuts! I got to try 12 flavours but it's hard to choose a favourite! I would definitely recommend this place to others who haven't tried it before.

Hello my fellow Google folks.This store is located at the Sky City Shopping Center just north of Finch Ave East and Midland Ave. It’s located on the north side of the building almost at the very end towards the west side of the parking lot.I went just a few minutes before opening on Saturday, and the staff were busy prepping the days donuts.I selected the three donuts and the flavours of Strawberry Pocky, Cookies and Crème and Black Sesame. The donuts were very good well balanced with its texture and Mochi (glutinous rice) chewiness. Donuts were not overly sweet and the flavours I chose were true to taste.Overall, the donuts were amazing and I love all the different flavours that are available to choose here I will be returning to purchase more!!

Super cute desserts! The ube ice cream was absolutely delicious and definitely a new favourite of mine. The mochi donuts were freshly made, and had a pretty good texture as well as a good assortment of flavours. The wait time was fairly long since it was after dinner, but definitely worth the wait!

Yelp Elite week brings us to La Mochi, serving up Japanese Mochi donuts. This dessert shop is located in the Skycity shopping centre. There were plenty of parking spots. I was greeted by the store clerk who graciously offered assistance with selecting my mochi donuts. She asked if I like sweet or less sweet. I told her I liked both.There is a display case showing the various flavours available. I ordered black sesame, matcha and oreo, and cookies and cream for the Yelp Elite offer. I also purchased 3 more donuts at $4.25 each. The other flavours were chocolate, hazelnut, and coffee.There was nice decoration on two of the donuts to show Yelp Elite. Very nice touch. You can buy 6 mochi donuts for $25 tax incl or 12 mochi donuts for $45 tax incl. There are some special tea lover mochi donuts at $5 each. Earl gray, Milk tea, and Thai.I think if they offer some premium drinks like bubble tea they will definitely expand their reach in the market. Maybe I missed their drink menu.If you have sweet tooth and looking for something more fun and interesting to eat, then I totally recommend this place. Although the price may seem steep, you can definitely taste the difference from a regular donut. Thank you, Yelp Toronto - Janice, for organizing this event.

Great spot for tasty mochi donuts in the Midland/Finch area. The inside feels very spacious, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I got a box of 6 mochi donuts of assorted flavours, and all of them were tasty. Truth be told, mochi donuts tend to be on the sweeter side so often I can't distinguish the flavours well, but the sweetness pairs well with the softness and mildness of the mochi itself. I think the churro one was my favourite (also their best seller) because it was the least sweet. All in all a great experience, can't wait to come back to try the rest of their flavours!

The Krispy Kreme of mochi donuts made fresh to order. First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. So crispy and delicious when eaten fresh. I prefer this place over Isabella's any day.Highly recommend and would come back!

Very disappointed in the amount of soft serve I got in a cup vs. when I saw it ordered in a cone. You would expect they would be similar in amount especially when it's pretty pricey for a soft serve ($6.99) and to get this amount is disappointing. It felt like it was half the amount you would get in a cone. Even comparing to the poster on the windows in the photo I took (a more accurate representation of what you get in a cone), it looked small.The taste was good, but I feel like this experience left me a bit bitter.
