Awesome store, great selection and a lot of options ranging from low priced rentals to premium products.Once I sought out the staff members attention they were provided A+ level service but I could see a number of other customers too shy to do so and leaving. An area to improve in my opinion.

Yesterday I went in with a friend to purchase my very first acoustic guitar. I was pleasantly surprised with the store and the layout. The staff were all excellent. After looking at more than a few guitars I chose to purchase the EPI J45EC Studio Natural AJ220SCE NANH acoustic guitar. Beautiful model and sound, looking forward to learning how to play.I do highly recommend going to the store, it was an excellent experience and I will be back.

I've been coming to this location for the past 10+ years now for all of my guitar supplies and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and they always seem to have what I need in stock. Their prices are pretty fair as well compared to other vendors and I really like how they offer layaway and financing when purchasing some of their more expensive items. I've financed a few guitars so far and their interest rates are pretty low and they offer quite a few different payment options so that you can enjoy your purchase but don't have to worry about breaking the bank. Their warranty is also great in the sense that the cost is quite low and you have the option of extending it at the end of each year.

I bought my first guitar and amp from here. I ended up having to order some of the equipment because this location didn’t have the items I wanted there. 2 weeks later when I went in to test the items the employee who assisted me was quite helpful and let me test everything before Hand. I ended up buying one of the guitars and an amp, and the guy helping me gave me a free cable so I didn’t have to buy one. For someone like me who’s new to the guitar world, that kind gesture meant so much to me. I’m glad I chose Long and Mcquade as the place to start my guitar journey, and I look forward to my next stop there!

Thanks to Deana and Dave for taking the time to help me figure out a guitar rig wiring issue that I was experiencing with some gear I recently purchased. They went above and beyond by most standards, but really in keeping with the particularly high standards of the South Edmonton location. I go to many L&Ms in my travels around town or even across the country and this one is consistently the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and most helpful I've been to. For a corporation that generally hires really good people in my experience, for this location to consistently rise a little bit above is really saying something.

I often rent keyboards from this location and each time I enter the building, I am immediately greeted and assisted by a friendly staff member. I also appreciate the very affordable rental rates.

The best of the best. Brought my injured Fernandez Ravelle guitar here to get surgery done, 3 days later it was home recovering. For some reason it plays much better now after the injury and surgery was done. Great job guys. Now you know why I keep coming back. This is where I get all of my music gears. I highly recommend this place. You will get great service and very informative.

Really good place to pick up an instrument there is also lessons upstairs(not free) there is a wide variety of instruments ranging from guitars to DJ equipment. You can pay to have guitar strings replaced or but the strings your self.They have lots of things for the guitar.The guitar section may be the biggest section of the store. I really like the place and very clean as well.

This is the best L and M in the city. The staff are so personable and very very educated. Most the staff I find are active artists in their respective scenes as well. Couldn’t ask for better.

Went in to buy a Roland FP90x, stand, three pedal setup, and a bench - about $4500 worth of gear. Stood by the piano for about five minutes five employees proceeded to pretend I was invisible.. Instead of taking a piano home tonight I’ll be ordering one from Piano Center which will take a few weeks to arrive.
