Madden and Vallis were beyond amazing photographers for our wedding day. A friend of ours had recommended them and after reviewing their photos we knew they'd be perfect. We loved their candid style. We planned this wedding out of province, which made no difference at all as they were fast to contact and made the process an easy one. Matt was a ninja, literally. He didn't miss a beat as he managed to capture every little moment that was precious. Kim was equally impressive capturing the moments of the ladies getting ready and dress and jewelry details. When we look back at our past October wedding in Baddeck, these photos bring us right back to our beautiful day. The weather itself was not exactly perfect that day and we had no choice but to take most of the family and bridal party pictures indoors. Matt and Kim made the photos unbelievable. We love every shot! They were troopers too, as they braved the weather with my husband and I, as we escaped to get some beautiful sunset shots in the freezing cold!! We cannot recommend this wedding duo enough. They were so fun to work with!! They made our day and importantly, our memories.

We chose Matt and Kim to photograph our wedding in December 2014 because we were looking for someone to tell our story. We knew from the moment we met they were exactly who we were looking for. Our pictures are beautiful, and really captured our essence! It was a huge bonus that Matt and Kim were fun and easy to work with. The relationship they built made them feel more like friends which made it so much easier to let loose and have some fun during the photo process! If we could give higher than 5 stars we would!

We can't say enough about our experience working with Matt and Kim! To start, our engagement photos were amazing. They met us back in the valley where our engagement happened and spent the whole afternoon taking photos for us at two different locations. After that I knew our wedding photos would be amazing... and they were! Not only do we have awesome photos, but it was really fun to work with Matt and Kim on our wedding day. I loved seeing our photos and all of the moments that they captured - such a benefit to have two shooters! I highly recommend their services to any bride and groom :)

Matt and Kim did the photos for my March wedding. They took a grim looking surroundings (with no leaves or snow) and made our shots looks beautiful and rustic. They have tonnes of ideas and worked themselves seamlessly in to our day. They have wonderful, out of the box ideas that are special for your day. They take the time to get to know their clients and their style. I get compliments almost daily on my wedding photos, and would use them again and again for any special event.

Kim & Matt photographed our wedding in August 2014. While researching photographers in the area, we were immediately drawn to their style of photography. The photos they take appear so natural and unstaged, which is definitely what we were looking for.From the beginning of the planning process, through our “special day”, they were easy to communicate with, and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. They were up-beat and energetic, and made being photographed fun (and not awkward!). Their ingenuity really took advantage of our environment, and we were able to get so many different photo settings within a kilometer radius. They even had us run across the road after the supper so they could capture some photos with the sunset behind us, which we are so thankful for – they turned out stunning. They were also able to capture some really special candid moments at the dinner and reception as well, which was nice.All in all, the photos came out better than we could have imagined. We had our absolute favourite photos printed into a hard cover book and it’s something we will treasure forever.Kim and Matt are truly great people with incredible talent, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

Kim and Matt were the perfect addition to our wedding day. Meeting with them in the months beforehand, they were extremely easy to chat with and helped us to feel very relaxed about everything. They had lots of wonderful ideas, which was a huge help since we didn't know what we wanted. Kim and Matt both take fantastic shots, and they were inconspicuous during the ceremony, which helped us to feel as comfortable as possible (in the circumstances!) We love the coverage they provided and will treasure their photos forever.

Kim and Matt were a dream to work with, proving great communication leading up to our wedding and gorgeous photos in a timely manner and easily accessibly format afterward. Having Matt go with the groom, groomsmen and family while Kim was with myself, my bridesmaids and family allowed us to capture the full day from both perspectives. Starting out with an engagement shoot allowed us to get to know them and get comfortable in front of the camera. They had some great suggestions, were friendly and professional, and somehow captured each moment while seamlessly blending in with our wedding guests. Kim and Matt photographed our engagement and wedding and did an AMAZING job! They had the best ideas for our engagement photos, in an orchard during apple blossom! These photos and those from our wedding were edited to perfection and exactly captured the feel" of our special day. They were both charming and fun

Matt and Kim took our wedding and reception photos last June. They did a fantastic job and paid attention to every detail. They were great with our guests - even the camera shy folks were willing to have the pics taken - they made it fun and relaxed. I love how they thought outside the box and took shots we never would have thought of.
