Good service and excellent inventory, especially for Ringette equipment which is a difficult to purchase niche at many sporting goods stores.Browsing through their camping and backpacking stuff (notably, out of season) they didn't have a lot of options for every category of item you'd want to buy, but they seemed to have at least some selection for every need.

I was visiting Houston to visit a friend and brought an electric scooter with me. During my trip, the electric scooter got a flat tire and since Country Wide Sports did bike repair, I hoped they could help. Even though the owner had never worked on an electric scooter he offered to try. He looked up what to do and after trying, he found it had a whole and was able to repair it. Even though it was more work for him, he only charged me a minimal price! I offered more based on his effort but would not let me pay more. I was very appreciative of his time and dedication to get it done for me.

I went there to just check my bike chain to see if it needed to be replaced and the guy was very willing to help he quickly determined it didn't. He then asked me why I was asking about the chain I replied I just want to be proactive and didn't want to replace other parts because I was using a worn out chain. He then told me the symptoms of a worn out chain and didn't try to sell me something. He was just overall helpful
