Flavour out of this world. I had the curry goat, jerk meal and cornbread. Beats other carribean restaurants that I have been to in Toronto. I can't wait to try this place again.

I've had the jerk chicken before when they had a popup kitchen which was amazing as I never had smoke jerk chicken beforeI came back to their Eglinton location for the oxtail. Super flavorful and fall off the bone oxtail but wish the portion was a little bigger for $208/10

Definitely recommend! Got the jerk chicken meal and wasn't disappointed at all. Chicken was smoky, well cooked, and tasty! Not very jerky" but still very tasty. Food portion was good but the meal is definitely a bit more pricey relative to other spots. I think for the price the meals should include some additional sides or at least a larger amount of coleslaw. But I'd certainly visit again tho!"

It is legit! The smoked jerk chicken is unreal. Goat and oxtail are nice and rich in flavour. Brings me back to Caribbean dreams. Portions are decent and I'm having a food coma as I type this review. Will definitely come back. Welcome to the hood :)

You cannot contact them by phone or email so after reading about them and receiving a flyer re East York Eats, I decided to go and order in person. NO SIGN OF THEM. I doubt they exist. BEWARE!

Visiting from NYC. Whenever I'm in the 6, I usually get my JA food from Ritz, but decided to try Southern Crown. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious, but the game changer is their gravy. You can put that gravy on anything and it will be delicious. The only improvement I would suggest is that I wish they didn't cut up the chicken and left the skin on it because the skin has all of the seasoning and fattiness. However, the gravy made up for it - it is an absolute must to order if you order anything from here.

These guys are simply amazing. If you can’t get through to them right now it’s because they are closed for around 2 weeks due to a family emergency. I enjoyed my food so much that I’ll be eagerly waiting for them to open again.

Everything I've tried here is delicious. The pulled pork sandwich, the jerk wings, the smoked chicken, the beer brined turkey, jerk chicken sandwich, the POUTINE! These people know how to make damn good food

Got the curried goat and oxtail dinner. Awesome flavours, fresh ingredients, and meat was tender. Coleslaw was delicious and rice & beans were tasty too.
